Jane Lynch hosted 'Saturday Night Live' this week, and in last night's episode, the 'Glee' star hit a series of high notes in sketches with Andy Samberg.

The 50-year-old host kicked off with a strong monologue (let's nevermind that bizarre off-one-shoulder coat), during which she and Fred Armisen sang with gusto about Sue Sylvester -- an admittedly "terrible!" ditty she nevertheless hoped would become the theme song for 'Glee.'

The TV star has a background doing live improv with Second City, and her confidence was evident. But it was during three 'SNL' bits co-starring Andy Samberg -- in which she played a mom who discovers Facebook, an inappropriate therapist, and a hausfrau with a hankering for one-night stands -- that she shone brightest.

Check out the new 'Damn it, My Mom is on Facebook' Filter (which unfortunately does not actually exist) here. And after the jump, more clips featuring the newly minted comedy team of Lynch & Samberg.
