Parents Up in Arms Over New Miley Cyrus Video

Miley Cyrus is at it again.

The 17-year-old teen queen, known for creating her share of sexual controversies, has angered the Parents Television Council with her new video, 'Who Owns My Heart,' TMZ reports.

"It is unfortunate that she would participate in such a sexualized video like this one," Tim Winter, the president of PTC, told TMZ.

"It sends messages to her fan base that are diametrically opposed to everything she has done up to this point. Miley built her fame and fortune entirely on the backs of young girls, and it saddens us that she seems so eager to distance herself from that fan base so rapidly," Winter added.

In the vid for her European-style single, Cyrus writhes around on a bed, walks around in her underwear and dirty dances among other scandalous actions. Watch

The 'Hannah Montana' star must be quite at home making people upset with her image.

Miley posed for Vanity Fair wearing just a sheet, showing off her bare back when she was just 15.

Right before the provocative photo shoot with Annie Leibovitz in Vanity Fair, pics of her posing suggestively with her underwear showing also leaked on the Internet, for which she later apologized.

But it didn't stop there. At the age of 16, she dated Justin Gaston, who was 20 at the time. (She recently split from her latest boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, also 20.)

Furthermore, her most recent film, the yet-to-be released 'LOL: Laughing at Loud,' features the singer-actress in a role where she reportedly loses her virginity, smokes pot, gets wasted, kisses two girlfriends on the lips and flashes her lady parts.

AuntieMimi...the problem isn't with her making the video...if she wants to walk around in her underwear and rub all over a bunch of sweaty dancers...goody for her...but the issue is that she has made her money and her success (and is continuing since Hannah is still on DIsney channel) using the Disney channel and their children audience and now she is dropping them like a bad habit and turning to the other way...you can't talk out of both sides of your mouth...

I'm not upset about kids watching this (because I know parents would have enough sense), I'm upset that teen girls will watch this and get inspired. It teaches them, to go ahead, Strip! Act sexy! Yeah we know you're getting ready to be an adult but there's no need to be trashy to show it. Be modest, gentle-spirited. You'll get better respectful guys to love you instead of using you. I am a teen girl myself (15) and I'm disgusted. That is not the way a Christian should act since she claims she's one. I just can't stand her for that and her hypocritic behavior, her poser attitude, her rudeness to her father, and the list goes on.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!??! People who are shocked by Miley's "new sexuality" have been in denial and have been feeding their sweet, innocent girls Miley's sexuality for YEARS. Just because you fail to analyze and scrutinize the character of a young girl doesn't mean she's not sexualizing herself in front of your children while YOU pay for your girls to go to her movies, etc., etc. THE PARENTS are the ones who have been duped and the PARENTS are the ones who have subjected their children to sexual innuendo and behaviors that the PARENTS deemed "innocent." This tramp has been a tramp for years. The fact that you didn't see it doesn't exonerate you from exposing your children to it.

Parents, the solution is simple - teach your daughters who REAL role models are - women who contirbute and have contributed to the betterment of society, such as Corretta Scott King, Mother Theresa, First Lady Michelle Obama, Amelia Earheart, Florence Nightengale, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, female soliders, nurses, and the wonderful women in their lives - you, the mother, aunts, grandmothers, teachers, members in the church, ad the like. They will then know the females who matter and love of Miley will fade. He parents clearly do not care about her image. It is up to us mothers to look out for our daughters.

After Watching the Video Love the song and see nothing wrong with it to me it looks like what every teen age girl is doing on a good nite in her bedroom singing and dancing around in there undies ALL YOU PARENTS SHOULD GET YOUR MINE OUT OF THE GUTTER and injoy the Song your Kids are most likely injoying the song like me and danceing to the music if you can't trust your kids watching a Video like this you have BIGGER PROBLEMS

Funny...pretty sure most 17 yrs olds i know never roll around on silk sheets touching themselves while singing along to a song...and pretty sure they don't go to a club and rub their bodies all over some sweaty people who they probably just met 5 minutes before...what kind of 17 yrs olds do you know? and better yet why haven't child protective services been called on them?

Except that she's NOT dancing and singing around in her bedroom.
She's 17 years old and in this video... she's on a dance floor writhing and grinding against both men and women.

The shots of her in the limo... her legs are up in the air and the view is not exactly what I'd call modest.

I don't think this is appropriate for a 17 year old.

I see all the jealous old ladies are already posting hate on beautiful Miley. They are so sad in life that they can't stand someone as young, beautiful and successful as Miley. There is nothing wrong with this video or song.
