Rapper Remodels Reality TV With 'Vanilla Ice Project'

All right, stop, remodel your home and listen! Ice is back with a brand new ... reality show on the DIY Network.

Vanilla Ice -- who's real name is Robert Van Winkle -- debuts his new home renovation reality show, 'The Vanilla Ice Project,' this Thursday at 9PM on the DIY Network and (surprise!) it's got nothing to do with music.

"I've been flipping homes for about 10 years," he says. "I enjoy it. I like to sit back and cross my arms and think, 'Look at what I've accomplished,'" he told The Daily News.

Fans of Ice's music need not worry, "It's just a hobby," he says of the 'The Vanilla Ice Project'. "I play 100 concerts a year. I make good investments here. I've never left the music industry."

Ice is no stranger to reality TV -- viewers may remember his stint on VH1's 'Surreal Life' in 2004.

i think he's a cool guy. at least he tries different things and isnt afraid to live life and make adventures. i never heard of him doing harm to anyone else, he just wants to do his thing and be happy. i'll watch the show

i tuned into his show on diy in canada and did not see it. very disappointed. he will do well no matter what he does. too many jealous idiots out there knocking him.
