Jennifer Grey has got the moves, but not the Botox. In a new interview with Us Weekly, the 'Dancing With the Stars' front-runner admits to considering Botox prior to the show, but decided against it after talking to her husband.
The 50-year-old actress -- who just scored the first perfect 10 scores of the show's season -- says she initially thought that a cosmetic touch-up might come in handy.
"Before the show, I thought, Oh, I should get some Botox, get rid of wrinkles under my eyes," the 'Dirty Dancing' actress told the magazine.
"When you put on a lot of makeup, the lines become very apparent."
But it was Grey's husband, actor Clark Gregg, who discouraged her from taking action, reportedly telling her "not to touch anything, to be who I am, because I look great."
Agreed! And we can't blame the youthful-looking star for being wary of cosmetic surgery. She famously lost work after two nose jobs in the 1990s dramatically changed her appearance.

i noticed on the cover of people it says she's honoring patrick swayze....i remember after she did dirty dancing with him, she slammed him said she was skeeved by him (apparantly they were both in red dawn prior to that movie and did not get along)and during their make out scenes she wanted to throw up and could not stand him....the next thing i know she is on DWTS crying over him...........seriously?

Kinda sounds like when "Scarlet" had to kiss Rhett (she said he had bad breath). Hundreds of women of that era would have changed places with him in a heartbeat. We have Kit Kats, but an old fashioned Spearment Lifesaver would have done the trick.
The past is past, Kelly, so just think happy thoughts.
she doesn't need botox

It's incredible how the plastic surgery on her nose changed her appearance. She doesn't even look like the same person who was in Dirty Dancing. She had a very unique, recognizable look before. Now she just looks so average. Pretty, but definitely not "Baby". I wonder if she ever regretted it.

I agree with you 100%. My friend, Holly, always watches DWTS, mayabe it is you. I watched DWTS just to see Jennifer, but could not find her until she was photo'd close up. Very pretty, but, as you say, just ordinary. As I young girl, she just wanted to be pretty. (Been there) At 50, she is a beautiful woman, but I miss the pretty young girl look.
I have never anyone have their nose remade, and look totally different like Jennifer. She was always very pretty, and still is. But she does look like a different person.
And she doesnt need any more work done, she looks fine as is.

Botox does nothing for wrinkles under the eyes. Botox is for creases made by frowning and facial expressions. If done correctly Botox isn't apparent.

So you changed your nose to the point where you're now unrecognizable from Dirty Dancing, but you draw the line @ botox? Puhleease
