Kelsey Grammer's Ex: 'Housewives' Eased Divorce

Camille Grammer says becoming a new member of Bravo's 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' has helped her through her divorce from 'Frasier' star Kelsey Grammer.

Camille filed for divorce in July, citing "irreconcilable differences." The couple had been married for 13 years and have two children, 9-year-old daughter Mason and 6-year-old son Jude.

"I'm glad that I decided to do the show because it's been a diversion," the 42-year-old former Playboy model said in an interview with The Associated Press. "I have these wonderful, five very strong, successful women right there supporting me through this."

A source told the NY Daily News in July, the couple allegedly were divided about her intention to star in the reality TV show. "He's a control freak, so he didn't like her joining the show. But this is still a surprise," the source says. Several sources said the marriage started to crumble when the actor moved to New York earlier this year to star in 'La Cage Aux Folles' on Broadway.

In the season premiere, which airs Thursday, Kelsey Grammer is seen leaving for New York. His ex-wife says at the time she had no idea divorce was on the horizon and was preparing to relocate her family to New York.

"It was hard for me. It definitely brought a tear to my eye," she said of seeing the first episode. "... I think I give him a kiss (goodbye) and I say 'I love him.' I was supposed to move in that summer."

Castmate Lisa Vanderpump, a British restaurant owner and mother of two, says the divorce brought the women closer together.

"It was tough for her, very tough. ... You're not just opening the gates to your house, you're opening the gates to your heart, your life," Vanderpump said. "And it's like an express train, sometimes things kind of run away with you."

What are you smokin'? He has the more talent, humor, personality in his little toe than that insecure, name dropping, narcissisitic, airhead has in her entire plastic carved bod. Maybe surgery removes brain cells, humor and personality!

I agree with vj roche, what are you smokin?.....Kelsey Grammar is a
talented and funny actor...I really can not see what he saw in
her....she is crazy..she is the one that has no talent and if it
wasn't for Kelsy she would not be able to brag so much....when I watch
the House Wifes of Beverly Hills, I could reach out and slap
her....all she talks about is how much she has...really fake....and
not at all attractive...I would say Kelsey is better off without
her...hopefully he'll do better the next time...

I don't know what Kelsey is like to live with, but from watching The Housewives I can see what a flaky, narcissisitic brat she is! Why wouldn't he want to leave this piece of plastic?
