Though several published reports claim Michael Douglas is near his deathbed and in the process of changing his will, those close to him say that's simply not true. Douglas' longtime friend and publicist Allen Burry tells PEOPLE that the actor hasn't changed his will since his treatment for throat cancer and isn't saying goodbye to friends and family."Michael is totally focused on his recovery," says Burry. "Michael hasn't changed his will recently, and he isn't contemplating changing it," he adds.
Douglas just completed eight rigorous weeks of chemotherapy and radiation treatment to combat a walnut-sized tumor in his throat. His recovery will take another six weeks and then the Academy Award-winning actor will have periodic check-ups. "He's really happy about it ending," Burry said.

Sick ........................
If bush would have let stem cells alone,we would have the cure.

Idiot liberal, you have reached a new low in blaming Bush. Congratulations!
yet another blame Bush neanderthal
Right on Terry! It has nothing to do with liberal or conservative. It has something to do with agendas. So, don't knock down Terry because you are narrow-minded. Not that the President now is much better, Terry is right that stem cells are a necessity. If you disagree with me on this then you're an idiot, and I hope you don't get some cancer that is incurable that could have been cured through the use of stem cell research. Take that!
Bush was possibly one of the worst presidents, and you think that he doesn't deserve blame for anything? Seriously. Bush left this country in a mess as he walked away with his tail between his legs, like the dog that he is.
Agreed! Republicans are the all about me party. They don't give a crap about anyone else including those with a different sexual preference. Very selfish group good at starting wars we have to clean up after.
There were stem cells. There are stem cells. Bush halted federal government funding of future harvesting. Period. Didn't stop the ones that existed from being used. Didn't stop private sources from spending money to do it. There is, as yet, absolutely no evidence that they will cure anything. Strong suggestions, maybe - but the ones that existed over 10 years ago have and are being used - to no real effect so far.
WRONG....stem cell research and findings are NOT where we want them to be.....My question is, is he still wearing chemicals like after shave, etc, etc., etc???.....What kind of diet is he following? Are the chemicals out of his home? Beating Cancer takes a lot more than stem cell my dear....I know, I beat FIVE Cancers using ONLY Holistic/Alternative treatments....it can be done, but NO ONE THING WILL cure him...
I totally agree with the Republicans starting wars that "we" have to clean up. After all, those bastard Republicans, Kennedy and LBJ (Viet Nam), Truman (Korea), and Roosevelt (WWII) started wars. Oh, wait a minute, have I got something wrong?
Americans have started wars, some went well, some didn't. Americans have to clean up sometime. Not republicans, Democrats, Whigs, or anyone else. Try to keep things in perspective, we are all Americans. Quit the fingerpointing and try to help this place.
Oh, Chaz: there either is God or there is not. If there is no God, as you believe, you have nothing to worry about. However, if you have made a slight error in your judgement and there is, you can ask Him all those questions when you die. We all will, except may Joe Paterno who said he wasn't.
I totally agree with you,
chaz, you're an idiot. and someday you'll meet the God you don't believe in. pity
Bush actually supported stem cell research.
unfortunately this is the way of our wonderful world today. for some reason people like to play up tragedies. or be the first to report them. like it should mean something. . .whatever happpened to loving and supporting one another in a positive way intimes of need. huh all you media slugs. . . hopefully he doesn't pay any attention to all of your b/s!

So you think a person can smoke and drink all they want... get throat cancer..... and be cured with stem cell experiments? If the man never smoked or drank as heavily as he did it is possible he could be quite healthy, today. now i don't want to hear about some guy you knew who smoke a thousand cigarettes a day and lived to be 110.

Here's one for you Rose..... My brother-in-law (46) has the very same kind of cancer and has never, never smoked and he has never really drank much alchol (mayone once or twice a year). Don't go blaming people for living. It's sounds to me like you've got a bug up yours and want everyone else in the world to have one too. Live and let live, it's not your place to judge.
