Bill O'Reilly Fires Back at 'The View' Ladies [Video]

Bill O'Reilly addressed his feud with the ladies of 'The View' on 'The O'Reilly Factor' Thursday night, going deeper into statistics he brought up on the talk show and running the tape with a bit of commentary.

"No one I know wants to insult Muslims, but many are tired of the political correctness surrounding the 9/11 attack. I am not in the business of sugarcoating harsh realities," O'Reilly said. "I enjoy jousting with the 'View' ladies because, with the exception of Elisabeth Hasselbeck, they don't see it my way and I want their audience to hear both sides." See O'Reilly's segment:

Fireworks erupted on the set of 'The View' yesterday when hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar left the set during an interview with O'Reilly while discussing the proposed "Ground Zero mosque."

"Sure, they have a right to do it," he continued. "But it's inappropriate because a lot of the 9/11 families who I know, say, 'Look, we don't want that.'"

When Joy, Whoopi and the other ladies expressed their opposition to 'The O'Reilly Factor' star's opinion, he attempted to shut them down. "Listen to me because you'll learn," he exclaimed, adding that he believes President Obama's numbers are falling because of his unwillingness to comment on "the wisdom of" building the community center.

The heated discussion went back and forth, but the blowout came after O'Reilly said, "Muslims killed us on 9/11." Goldberg and Behar attempted to specify that it was an extremist sect within Islam and not the religion itself that attacked the U.S. When O'Reilly continued to argue his point, the enraged hosts walked off the set.

Of the walkout, Behar told PopEater, "He's an idiot. I just couldn't sit there any longer and listen to him. After he apologized, Whoopi and I walked back out and sat down. I have no regrets."

You want to talk about trying to push your Ideas on others you should listen to the ones that walked off, They will never listen unless you agree with them they want to call you stupid and uneducated. Joy should know about uneducated, she never listen accept to herself.

If you think its right to walk out on an open debate because you don't have enough smarts to argue your point, then you are just as lame as Joy and Whoopi. They made themselves look totally stupid and even worse, they made their viewpoint look even more stupid.

Those two women are no ladies. They are just a couple of opinionated broads that can not stand anyone disagreeing with them, and to top it off they were disrespectful not only to a guest in the show, but to the audience as well. Why Barbara Walters has them in that show? I don't think anybody is interested in whatever they have to say.

Behar and Goldberg are nasty, rude and wrong to think they can be this way and get away with it--I no longer respect them. They should open their minds to discussion not dissention--walking off stage was a very childish thing to do.Grow up girls!

For the most part they represent the Lemming of the left and cannot understand why the vast majority of working Americans see the President and his policies as out of touch..... No, I beg to differ, they were NOT right. Bill was an invited guest and even tho they did not agree with what he was saying, they were NO better, than he, when they stormed off or when Whoopie used foul language. Two wrongs DO NOT make a right. We live in the USA, remember? EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion. Both women were rude to their invited guest and Whoopie needs her mouth washed out with soap. If they do not want guests who have a different opinion on The View, then do not invite them. This is exactly why I do not watch The View or any other show these "ladies" host.
