Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka's Twins Are Born
Neil Patrick Harris and longtime partner David Burtka's twins from a surrogate mother were born Tuesday, Oct. 12, NPH reported via
Twitter.
"Babies!!" Harris, 37, wrote. The twins are named Gideon Scott and Harper Grace. "All of us are happy, healthy, tired, and a little pukey."
Harris tweeted in August that he and Burtka, his 35-year-old man of six years, would have children: "So, get this: David and I are expecting twins this fall. We're super excited/nervous/thrilled. Hoping the press can respect our privacy..." he tweeted.
"For over two decades, Americans have followed Neil Patrick Harris' journey from child star to popular leading man. Now, many will look on as he and his partner build a family together," Jarrett Barrios, president of the
Gay & Lesbian Alliance of Defamation (GLAAD) told
PopEater in August. "As more and more loving and committed gay and lesbian couples start families together, it is important to see stories like Neil's that reflect what most fair-minded Americans already know: gay people and our families are no different than them. For many, Neil is the first gay person they've seen come out, fall in love and become a dad, and his story is helping Americans understand that gay people deserve the same opportunity to take care of our families and loved ones."

Then stop looking in the mirror.
My teenage boys, 17 and 16 years old, and very straight as far as anyone (including themselves) know, are huge NPH fans. He is extremely popular among teenage boys because he's cool, funny, smart, talented, cool, nerdy, a little geeky, masculine...and yes they know he's gay. I think its fabulous!

I couldn't agree more! Definitely fabulous! And cudos to you for raising such intelligent and fair-minded young men! Why should anyone care if NPH is gay? He's a good human being, and that's ALL that matters!
This is a national disgrace! People wonder why this once great Christian nation is in decline, God will continue to punish this country as long as this sin goes on.

America is not a christian nation and never was....it is not a disgrace to love a child.....this country is one of the few who haven't accepted homosexuals. Most countries' gay people live like anyone else ,without fear....homosexuals have been here since the cave days and have lived amongst kings and queens...It won't rub off ,ya know....
Yes and your judgement in itself is a sin so thanks for your contribution to the declining Great Christian Nation as you put it...I feel pukey myself now!!
They will be loved, healthy and happy children who will have so much in life. Congrats to Neil and David!! P. S. The teen years are tough!!

I think any child born to parents that will love them and raise them to be strong are lucky kids!

All I can say is this. I know a gay couple that had a child by a surrogate . And this child is one of the most loved and cared for children I have ever seen .And she has her grandmothers and her aunts and nieces as female figures in her life that adore her .

Congratulations NPH and David, and God Bless. God bless the four of your and may you have a long life filled with much happiness, health and career success!!!

Congrats to the two new Daddies! I am so happy for both of them and their two little ones. Gay parents do an excellent job raising decent civilized human beings, who are more likely to know what it is to be raised in a home with unconditional love and support and far more likely to be open minded. It's too bad the straights can't do the same more often for their own children.

I think you're MORE than "a little pukey," Mr. Harris.

Congratulations and all of you "haters" go to church and say a little prayer. For yourself.
