Irked 'Dancing' Cast Close to Turning on Jennifer Grey

After weeks of landing at the top of the 'Dancing With the Stars' leader board, insiders tell me the cast and dancers are starting to get a wee bit jealous of the outstanding Jennifer Grey.

"It's not outright hate yet but it isn't good," one insider that's spent plenty of time on the 'Dancing' stage tells me. "It's just not fair that we are all working our a**es off every week and Jennifer literally waltzes in and gets the best marks. You would think that because she is a dancer the judges would be a little harder on her."

This isn't the first time controversy has erupted over stars with dance experience stepping into the ballroom. Last season's winner, Nicole Scherzinger, came into the competition as one of the most respected dancers and choreographers in the music industry, and who can forget season 10 contestant Mya, who admitted she'd been dancing since she was 5 years old.

"What is different this time is the questions about excluding stars with dance experience aren't coming from the public or the media but rather from within the competition itself," a TV executive tells me. "I fear that if Jennifer gets another perfect score this week, Bristol Palin will have a fit!"

Now, now ladies, let's remember the winner wins a mirror ball trophy and not a desk in the Oval Office!

The last time I checked Jennifer Grey did a movie about dancing, but her profession is "actress"....how does a "dancing movie "over 20 years ago make her a professional dancer.....maybe just maybe she is a very talented woman! What about that as a reason for her top scores............and lest not forget Derrick as a teacher.......he has turned the most 2 left footed women into dancers time and time again.....shezzzz

Jennifer Grey has been dancing for most of her life, and that is part of the reason she landed the role of Baby in Dirty Dancing. With that being said, I'd love to see her win!

You didn't check very deeply or early enough in her life, or who her Father was either did you. I love Derek but am now feeling he gets an unfair advantage too many seasons now. If I were one of the other pros I would be wondering why this is happening too

I agree! Dirty Dancing was the only dancing she ever did and that was many years ago. Let's face it, she's just a natural and I say she's the best!!!!

I totally agree.. Even though her father was a very good dancer she is still a very talented woman.. I enjoy watching her and Derrick.. I feel Derrick is one of the best instructors on dancing with the stars... Keep up the Good Job Jennifer.. I enjoyed you on Dirty Dancing and I enjoy you as much on DWTS

Jennifer was a professional dancer prior to the movie role--that's why she got the role.

Jennifer has been dancing forever. He dad was a dancer, choregrapher(and yes that is probably spelled wrong)and so she grew up with it. It is unfair to pair totally inexperienced people with professionals and then judge them the same way.

Who really cares if Bristol Palin will have a fit if Jennifer Grey gets another perfect score? Who is Bristol Palin anyway? She is just the daughter of a has been politician who couldn't finish out her term in office. Bristol isn't a star anyway, so why is she even on this show? It is called Dancing With The Stars! Last time I looked, she is just a girl who got pregnant and didn't finish high school! Bristol, go back to Alaska and be a mother to your child. More than we can say for your mother!

That Ice Skater they had on has had much more dance training than the Dirty Dancing chick. Ice Skating has loads of dance training.

This show is so fixed. They just said Bristol Palin is safe, after she tripped over her own feet last night and the gal just can't dance for beans. Now she is safe, after getting the lowest scored???

derek is the best his routine was great last night the judges are too much for me to take .I think they just dont want to keep derek this season I dont know jennifer gray is one heck of a dancer! shes got a good partner!!! I also think that show is fixed!

Where is everyone here getting their information from? I have not read anything about her having dancing experience pre-Dirty Dancing. I saw her in an interview and was asked that very question. In her words, she had some ballet training when she was very young but when she was in DD, she was not experienced. As someone mentioned, that was over 20 years when she was 27 yo. She is now 50 and you can't tell because she has remained in good shape. Not many people her age can do some of the amazing moves that she can make with the flexibility she has at age 50.
Like everything else that is posted on the internet these days, there is no credibility when you just make ridiculously ignorant statements like are found here - oh her Daddy was an experienced dancer so therefore....

Jennifer is the best out there. She is an actress and not a dancer. Brystal needs to go home. She can't keep a beat and she trips over her own 2 feet. Everyone should be voting for those who can dance.
