Lea Michele and 'Glee' Costars Pose for Sexy GQ Photos

The preposterously good looking stars of 'Glee' shed their family-friendly sensibilities -- and a bunch of their clothes -- in the new issue of
GQ.
"I've never been shot in so little clothing,"
Dianna Agron, 24, says of photographer Terry Richardson's field day with her and castmates
Lea Michele and
Cory Monteith.
"I don't know how they got me to do half the stuff I did," Michele, also 24, adds about the racy shoot.
The cover story dives deep into the stars' lives and the genesis of the shows fanatical fanbase -- known as "Gleeks."
Michele recounts how, at the start of her acting career, she was told time and time again to get a
nose job. "I was one of the only girls in my high school that didn't get one. And if anybody needed it, I probably did. But my mom always told me, growing up, 'Barbra Streisand didn't get a nose job. You're not getting a nose job.' And I didn't. F*** those people."
Though Monteith, 28, dropped out of school in the ninth grade, he's not about to suggest that as a smart path. "The last thing I want to do is kind of imply to readers in high school that you too can drop out and be an actor and get on a big show and be famous and make a s***load of money."
'Glee' co-creator Ryan Murphy tells the magazine he was skeptical of doing a sugarcoated family show. "I wanted to do
my version of a family show. But we try to be as responsible as we can, because we know some young people watch."
One of the more surreal moments in the 'Glee'-skyrockets-to-fame story, Michele says, was
performing at the White House Easter Egg Roll this past spring. "Rolling down the hills on the lawn, looking up at the snipers on the rooftops. Feeling like, at any moment, you could get shot. It was amazing. I mean, we watched Amber [Riley, 'Glee' costar] sing the national anthem in front of Obama. We were crying."
The November GQ is available on newsstands Oct. 26.

Not very appropriate for someone who's suppose to be a role model for teens.

Why would you be allowing your teens to read GQ in the first place? It's a MENS magazine... for adults. These actors & actresses are adults. The creator is an adult. The show also appeals to adults (as well as teens), so why not participate in an interview and photoshoot that also appeals to the adult fans as well? It is not the rest of the world's job to police your children for you.
I would hope that even adults would not find the photos sexy or appropriate, since they're in their underwear in a high school setting. Can anyone say pedophile??
oh, please, nancsc....it is very well known that most men have school-girl fantasies. hence why they did this shoot for a MEN'S magazine. it's not BOP, for christ's sake. get off your moral high-horse. also, lea michelle is 24 years old. how is that pedophilia? you people are ridiculous.
Ashley, Speak for yourself (or your 'men') when you say most men lust after women dressed like little girls. Not true. It's more of a fetish instead of a universal turn on. Leah is, indeed, of age. The fact that she chose to dress like a little girl in her underwear, in a sexy pose in a high school setting suggests (as you claim) that men get off on little girls of school age. That, my dear, is pedophilia.
Why are the girls scantily dressed and Cory is in jeans and a shirt? Why did these girls allow themselves to be objectified? Like one said, she didn't even realize what she was doing...maybe there should've been someone on set to keep an eye on things.

I'm sure there were plenty of people keeping an eye on things!
Owning and embracing one's sexuality is being objectified? News to me.
I can't imagine why they thought this was a good idea. It would be one thing if they were dressed in their underwear in a different setting, but dressed this way in a high school setting is really inappropriate. And typical that the women are scantily clad and posed like Playboy models, but the man is fully dressed and playing the drums.

I agree! If they were playing as adults on tv then fine. But to play toward a teen audience and then go and do photoshoots like this is really showing young girls you should be sexy for your teen boyfriends....wonder why the teen pregnancy rate is going up? 9 year olds want to look and feel sexy......wow
"Feeling like, at any moment, you could get shot. It was amazing."
Um that's not weird lol

Just another reason why I cancelled my subscription.

I just think it's a little creepy considering they're playing high school kids.. It's a lil too Lolita -ish. But I was wondering when some of them were going to try and 'break' the mold, it's typical for girls to mistake objectification/ over exposure with 'breaking out' nowadays.

I agree, GLEE is watched by many young teens. Posing for these shots does not make for very good role models to the large audience of teens and younger who watch this show. I am disappointed to see these actors make that choice. It is all about the money isn't it?!

I'm frankly disappointed how the women(Lea & Dianna) are objectified and that Cory Monteith has his hands on their bottoms. The the magazine cover supports the image/rumors/stories of the tabloids especially the "GLEE gone Wild(er)" story. Why just these actors when their are other GLEE cast members who are equally if not more talented (can SING, dance & act)such as Kevin, Chris, Naya, Mark Sallings and Amber? I'm beginning to lose respect for the over-rated and over exposed GLEE cast members....
If kids are getting their role models from tv, there is your problem. Ask them if they know about real role models like Eleanor Roosevelt or Princess Diana, they won't be able to tell you anything. But they can tell you everything about shows like Glee (which sucks by the way).
Jeez PopEater, another Glee story? HOW SHOCKING!!!

Is that picture supposed to be sexy?
It's at best, sleazy.
