Taylor Swift Pens Song About John Mayer

Taylor Swift's latest album is shaping up to be an open book about her love life. First she penned a song about 'Twilight' hunk Taylor Lautner. Now, she's reportedly taking aim at John Mayer, which confirms rumors that the two were romantically involved in 2009 while collaborating on 'Half of My Heart,' a track from his last album. Based on lyrics from Swift's new song 'Dear John,' off her forthcoming 'Speak Now,' Mayer broke her heart.

The chorus of the song reveals the pair's romance ended badly:

"Dear John
I see it all now that you're gone
Don't you think I was too young
To be messed with
The girl in the dress
Cried the whole way home
I should've known.

It was wrong
Don't you think nineteen's too young
To be played
By your dark, twisted games
When I loved you so.

My mother accused me of losing my mind
But I swore I was fine

Who don't understand
And I'll look back in regret
I ignored what they said 'Run as fast as you can."

According to Access Hollywood, Swift said her songs are not difficult to interpret.

"They're all made very clear," she said. "Every single song is like a road map to what that relationship stood for, with little markers that maybe everyone won't know, but there are things that were little nuances of the relationship, little hints. And every single song is like that. Everyone will know, so I don't really have to send out e-mails on this one."

Taylor Swift is writing alot of songs about jilted lovers, but, aside the childish awkwardness of her lyrics, she still can't sing worth a flip.

John Mayer (if it's really about him) always gets crap for kissing and telling, but that's exactly what she does with her songs.I love this , So does My boyfriend .he is almost 11year older than me .i met him via age'lessmate.c'om a nice place for seeking age le ss love.which gives you a chance to make your life better and open opportunities for you to meet the attractive young girls and treat you like a king. This girl is talentless and a little psycho. She can't sing at all and I think 19 is old enough for her to start taking responsibility for her, obvious, bad choices in men. She needs to stop writing songs painting herself as the "victim" of her own choices. She is no victim, when you hook up with JM you know what it's all about.

Um. I think she's probably thinking it's all those millions of people who buy her albums and go to her shows that care. You know, the ones who make her millions of dollars that you don't have?

Anytime someone pulls the "Why is she famous?" line, it's clear that the real implication is "Why is she famous and I can't be?"

So unless you want to pick up a guitar and start writing songs, rather than sit on the internet and talk sh!t, you might want to stop whining. Because yours doesn't get you anywhere.

She is so pathetic. She can't pretend she was fooled by Mayer. He has I will jilt women written across his forehead. I'm sick of her whining to cover up the fact that her talent is weak. I wonder do she plan to play this pathetic "you done me wrong game" for the rest of her career. It's going to get old real fast!

I think her catchy song, "Why you got to be so mean?" was written for all of the nasty posts written on websites like these. She speaks to a young generation who relates to her, and I, as an older woman find her music refreshing and beautiful in it's own way. Who cares if Swift can't sing? She knows it. She sings about it. She sings about all the nasty things people like you say about her. I will continue to buy her cds and enjoy her music. I love hearing about her life. I love her style.
