Taylor Swift Pens Song About John Mayer

Taylor Swift's latest album is shaping up to be an open book about her love life. First she penned a song about 'Twilight' hunk Taylor Lautner. Now, she's reportedly taking aim at John Mayer, which confirms rumors that the two were romantically involved in 2009 while collaborating on 'Half of My Heart,' a track from his last album. Based on lyrics from Swift's new song 'Dear John,' off her forthcoming 'Speak Now,' Mayer broke her heart.

The chorus of the song reveals the pair's romance ended badly:

"Dear John
I see it all now that you're gone
Don't you think I was too young
To be messed with
The girl in the dress
Cried the whole way home
I should've known.

It was wrong
Don't you think nineteen's too young

By your dark, twisted games
When I loved you so.

My mother accused me of losing my mind

According to Access Hollywood, Swift said her songs are not difficult to interpret.

"They're all made very clear," she said. "Every single song is like a road map to what that relationship stood for, with little markers that maybe everyone won't know, but there are things that were little nuances of the relationship, little hints. And every single song is like that. Everyone will know, so I don't really have to send out e-mails on this one."

Uhh...this is awkward. I feel like I'm reading something I shouldn't. With all these songs, she's basically showing how horrible and naive she is about relationships. Plus, it seemed like a song about losing her virginity. WAAAYYY too personal.

Wow. you are right it does say that! Someone asked about this today on a cmt site and a Taylor fan got all irrate and said the person asking about it had no right to ask about her personal life!!hahaha! That's all she writes about!She is nuts if she thought she could hold John Mayer when he can get Jennifer Anistons and Jessica Simpsons! She needs to look in the mirror, It was just another conquest for him !

I just wanted to add one more thing. John Mayer (if it's really about him) always gets crap for kissing and telling, but that's exactly what she does with her songs.

So let me see if I get this right. She dumps Taylor Lautner because he's to young and she thinks he's not good enough for her - then dates John Mayer who dumps her because she's to young and he thinks she's not good enough for him.

JM has always hung out the fact he's not in it for long, just hops in and out of bed, so did she think she could hold on to him with Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson couldn't. Yep she is delusional.. now that she should put in a song.

Another song with the same theme as a dozen or so other songs this talentless harpy has sung over the last few years. In fact, now that I write this, I realize she HAS only been on the scene for a very short time. That this subject seems to be her text setting of choice makes me think that not only is she talentless but also shallow and unoriginal. When are people going to stop listening to this childish crap...or at least see through it?
