Photos: Jennifer Lopez's Twins Model for Gucci

Jennifer Lopez and her two-year-old twins, Max and Emme, are the stars of Gucci's new campaign for its children's collection. Shot in Malibu by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the family-friendly ads show mama J.Lo rocking tousled beach waves and some glam printed tunics while daughter Emme and son Max play on the beach in their Gucci gear. "It's the first time I have worked with my kids in that way," Lopez tells Us Weekly. "It was a totally special experience."

Lopez tells the magazine her daughter is already a budding fashionista.

"Emme picks out her own outfits and likes to sleep in her princess dress," she says.

And her son? "It's hard to get Max dressed. He prefers to run around the house with no clothes on."

As we've previously reported, the Gucci kids line -- set to debut in November -- will include apparel, footwear, accessories and leather goods for newborns to children age 8.

And to kick things off, Gucci is making a donation to UNICEF's Schools for Africa initiative in honor of the launch.

"It's exactly why I'm excited to be a part of this," Lopez says. "Now there are two Gucci spokesbabies for a beautiful cause!"

These are terrible. Why not make her look more motherly instead of her posing using her two children as mere props.

What does motherly look like, exactly?

I would think smiling at her children and looking more maternal. Maybe some affection?

Man! is it Sour Grapes Friday? or what? ... Her kids are gorgeous!

Couldn't she have taken a nice picture of her playing with them and laughing instead of that sour face like they are spoiling HER photo shoot! Who was modeling here? The article listed her kids but it looks like SHE was the focal point and the kids were just there until her body guards and nannies could handle the kids again. We're also pretty tired of these stars getting their kids into modeling no matter what they look like. Did anyone see Jerry Hall and Mick Jagger's kid? Ugh Just goes to show what star power can do.

I agree! She is always posing with this same expression...if she wants to appear maternal she should be interacting with her kids! I have seen great pics of other starts who pose with their kids and they look more motherly and realistic. She makes this face on the red carpet all the time. Google some of her pics and you'll see for yourself. Christie Brinkley, Halle Berry, Cindy Crawford, etc. have all posed with their children and took great photos. I don't like these either.

I agree. With this Country in a financial disaster we should stop all of our Money going out to foreign countries to help them and work on helping out our own who were legally born here in the USA. I am tired of giving our hard tax dollars to People who haven't worked here or is not a natural citizen.

Right on! We have all kinds of kids in American going without and need clothing, food and shelter. Lets take care of America first and once all of our problems are taken care of then and only then should we help other countries.

I was looking at the slideshow of "stars" with their kids. I feel kind of bad that they seem to be followed by photographers, but why don't they just smile and be friendly? Some do, but most of them are just scowling at the photographer. Just accept the fact that you took a job that puts you in the spotlight and you have no privacy any more. Don't like it? Get a boring job like the rest of us where nobody cares what we do!

I guess sex sells even when your with your kids as that is exactly how she is posing. I agree, it would have been much nicer had she been laughing or smiling with them instead of looking as though she is trying to attract a man.

Great........I'm sure that they're well on their way to being miniature fur-wearing snobs. To each his own, but I think it's ridiculous to put kids into designer clothing in the first place. They out grow it fast and normal children are allowed to get dirty. I'm sure that if you spend hundreds on an outfit, you would panic at every cup lift and mud puddle. I also echo the sentiments about where the Gucci donations are going. What about all of the needy children here in the good old USA? Many live just as badly as in a 3rd world country. Plenty of cold, hungry, homeless kids right here who need help.

She is a beautiful woman\d and has beautiful chidren ... so what's up with the suck-in-your-cheeks and narrow your eyes like you're in a smoke filled room pose on Mom's face? Most Moms I know are unable to quit smiling big time when they're next to their kids for picture taking despite what they look like ...

No offense meant, but really .... is she getting ready to jump the camera man's bones ... that's what she looks like she's trying to convey next to those tossled headed tykes ... yowser
