Lindsay Can't Afford Rehab; Looking for a Sponsor

You would think that Lindsay Lohan would be jumping for joy since a judge decided to order her back to rehab rather than to jail, however, sources tell me neither option made the troubled actress very happy. Why? Because the strapped 'Mean Girls' star will now need to find a sponsor to help cover her bill at the Betty Ford Center.

"Lindsay can't afford to pay for treatment," a friend told me after Superior Court Judge Elden Fox ordered her to remain there until Jan. 3. "Three months at the facility will cost her almost $50,000, which she doesn't have."

Lohan's probation report confirms that the star's "clothing line is falling apart because she is not available to monitor the product," and any money she hoped to earn from filming 'Inferno' will have to wait until she leaves rehab.

"There is simply no money left," an insider tells me. "Lindsay manages to live high off the generosity of others; however, asking for free clothes and dinners at fancy restaurants is one thing, asking for $50,000 cash is something totally different. Her people tried and failed to sell her first post rehab interview for big bucks, so her only option now is to find some sort of sponsor."

Or maybe find a cheaper rehab, Lindsay!

Whatever her parents didn't steal, she spent on drugs. She was going broke long before this latest incident.

This is the time for her mom to step up to the plate and pay for her to go, since she's been making money off of her since the beginning.. but NOOOOOOO she probably won't. She would rather try to get it from others as she's been doing all her life. You wonder why Lindsay is the way she is? Check out the mother. I hope Lindsay makes it in rehab as I think she has much talent and deserves a few chances in life to get things right. Keep working it Lindsay!

If she can't afford the place let her Mom and Dad pay it. Both of them did not want her to spend one day in jail so let them put their money where their mouth is. Oop's, I forgot neither of them have jobs.

Once again Lindsay Lohan is expecting someone else to take care of her problems! She needs rehab, then 90 days (full days, not partial service) and then needs to exit owing whatever money she owes and having to get a job to pay it off like the rest of us. That will pull her up by her bootstraps and she'll stop giving lip service, while feeling that she's being "picked on" cause of who she is. Her mother says she wouldn't be there if she wasn't famous. I totally disagree - she would have been there many months ago if she wasn't famous and she has had more than enough breaks. She needs to get a grip and get out of the news. Frankly I'm thrilled she's in rehab for 3 months - God Bless the peace the rest of us wil have!!!!

JANA...YOU SAID IT BEST...SHE WOULDVE BEEN IN REHAB OR JAIL LONG AGO. NO BREAKS, JUST GO TO ONE OR THE OTHER AND DO ALL THE TIME. SHOULD BE REALITY CHECK TIME FOR THIS PRIMA-DONA.

there are many effective treatment centers that take Medicaid - or welfare - let her apply for subsidies and go there - who is she that she deserves better than any other drunk.

So LiLo can't afford rehab....awwwwwwwww!! Maybe if she had done what she was told to do, and didn't keep violating probation and missing court dates, she wouldn't of had to spend thousands of dollars on bail. Suck it up, Lindsey. You created this mess, now figure out how to pay for it yourself!!

Nooo, not on my tab, thanks! IF the court finds that she is truly broke (and not just crying poverty so she can save her money for partying, designer clothes and cars that she'll run into a tree next month) then MAYBE she can go on the dole. Otherwise, let her parasitic parents pay for it. Haven't they been sponging off of her since she was 11 years old? Save the bed in the state-run rehab for someone who TRULY needs it!

She has laughed in the face of the justice system, and now this little witch wants people to contribute money for her stay in rehab. What am I missing here? If she cannot afford to stay in the place she's in, then she can be moved to a less expensive place. Anybody, who might be stupid enough to sponsor this child, needs to have their head examined. She will only cause pain and agrevation onto anybody who believes that this time Lindsay has her head on straight, and this is for the better. That is BS! She is playing the system, as she has done each and every time. Now, all she needs is some 'sucker' to foot the bill. Hopefully, nobody is that stupid.

I wonder if lindsey thinks she will be let out, now that she cant pay her bill? Anyone else would be thrown out. As far as Lindsey finding a sponser,, good luck on that one. I cant see anyone putting a dime on her now.
This should be a lesson for her, spending all of her money on fun does not work. Booze and dope costs a lot of money, she should have thought about that while doing it. Lindsey now should use this as a school, learn now before its too late. She will have lots of trails and all kinds of problems due to her wild ways. She can fix them now, or keep living the ignorant way, and always be broke, and messed up..

She can't afford rehab but can always manage to pay for her drug habit! Give me a break....she needs jail time, no rehab. She is a criminal. Anyone else who would have violated their parole would be serving real jail time right now.
