Lindsay Can't Afford Rehab; Looking for a Sponsor

You would think that Lindsay Lohan would be jumping for joy since a judge decided to order her back to rehab rather than to jail, however, sources tell me neither option made the troubled actress very happy. Why? Because the strapped 'Mean Girls' star will now need to find a sponsor to help cover her bill at the Betty Ford Center.

"Lindsay can't afford to pay for treatment," a friend told me after Superior Court Judge Elden Fox ordered her to remain there until Jan. 3. "Three months at the facility will cost her almost $50,000, which she doesn't have."

Lohan's probation report confirms that the star's "clothing line is falling apart because she is not available to monitor the product," and any money she hoped to earn from filming 'Inferno' will have to wait until she leaves rehab.

"There is simply no money left," an insider tells me. "Lindsay manages to live high off the generosity of others; however, asking for free clothes and dinners at fancy restaurants is one thing, asking for $50,000 cash is something totally different. Her people tried and failed to sell her first post rehab interview for big bucks, so her only option now is to find some sort of sponsor."

Or maybe find a cheaper rehab, Lindsay!

Cubsfan...She is NOT a girl. She is a woman who violated her parole. She repeatedly placed herself in these situations. The public is tired of her. She is a really bad influence on our children. Why shouldn't we say "enough is enough". She has broken all the rules. She does not deserve pity at this point..she deserves what she gets! Man up!

Who Cares!!!!!!!!!!! Let her go to a state rehab...oh that is right she wont be in Palm Springs and fancy 5 star meals . boohoo! Why not let her dead beat parents that have mooched off her get a job....oh that is right they have no education.

I guess those others kids will just have to drop out of school so someone can support the family ! shut up about this train wreck.

Here's an idea....stopped injecting the lips, they look ridiculous. Stopped buying cars you can't afford.Stopped highlighting the hair. Stopped wearing designer clothes and eating at the best resturants. It's called a budget. During these economic times a large majority of us have had to reign in the spending why can't Lindsey? I am all for getting the help to save this young dumb girls life but possibly not at the super exclusive Betty Ford.

If this were me, I'd be in jail or a much more low rent rehab. Nobody would cut me any breaks or pay my way. Why does she merit special treatment? If she's poor, let her live poor. When she again begins to make money.... try thinking of good you can do with it, Lindsay, instead of party clothes and drugs.

I am so tired of hearing about this loser. She should have gone to jail. How can she be out of money? And if she truly is, it's becauseshe has spent it on her high life style, partying, drugs, alcohol,clothes and hair styling. Hmmm..and she just bought TWO cars! GET REAL!! She needs a big dose of reality...the way the rest of us have to live. There are plenty of talented, pretty girls around that will gladly take the roles that might have been offered to this no-talent,fame thriving bimbo. I hope the movie and television industry stop shoving her down our throats. I, for one, won't watch her in anything she might be in. She is a disgrace for the generation that idolized her.
