Lindsay Can't Afford Rehab; Looking for a Sponsor

You would think that Lindsay Lohan would be jumping for joy since a judge decided to order her back to rehab rather than to jail, however, sources tell me neither option made the troubled actress very happy. Why? Because the strapped 'Mean Girls' star will now need to find a sponsor to help cover her bill at the Betty Ford Center.

"Lindsay can't afford to pay for treatment," a friend told me after Superior Court Judge Elden Fox ordered her to remain there until Jan. 3. "Three months at the facility will cost her almost $50,000, which she doesn't have."

Lohan's probation report confirms that the star's "clothing line is falling apart because she is not available to monitor the product," and any money she hoped to earn from filming 'Inferno' will have to wait until she leaves rehab.

"There is simply no money left," an insider tells me. "Lindsay manages to live high off the generosity of others; however, asking for free clothes and dinners at fancy restaurants is one thing, asking for $50,000 cash is something totally different. Her people tried and failed to sell her first post rehab interview for big bucks, so her only option now is to find some sort of sponsor."

Or maybe find a cheaper rehab, Lindsay!

Why does have to got to the Betty Ford clinic, when there are plenty of "state" run facilities to choose from. Go back to jail, Babe. You'll get more help there than on the outside.

DUI, coke possesion, failing to appear at court hearings (remember the Caans Film Festival?), alcohol use while on probation and being monitored for alcohol, two positive court ordered drug tests while on probation, etc... etc... etc... She belongs in jail, not rehab. Besides all of the above, don't the 3 previously failed stints in rehab tell anyone anything???

If he family want to be a help to Lindsay, go thru her positions, shoes, clothing , Jewelry all her pricy positions and put it up for sale on one of the web sites. That way she can sponsor herself. If she flops big time at Betty Ford and loses her home etc. than she will not have to worry about where to store things.

oh poor poor baby. why not hold a car wash or bake sale. these people get zero sympathy from me. they think they are all above us. maybe they need to act more like us. when they do something stupid most times they get a slap on the hand while the real world pays the price. she has had too many chances and she needs to do mandatory jail for a while. poor poor rich girl. wake up world we are making these people richer and richer.

Suggest that she hold a big garage sale and get rid of her things that she more then likely has not a clue that she even has. In other words...BOO HOOO if she can't afford Betty Ford then go to a cheaper state run rehab. One where she would wear the orange jump suit and used sneakers.

JUST SEND HER BACK TO JAIL WHERE SHE BELONGS, THEY HAVE AA MEETINGS IN JAIL. REHAB HASN'T WORKED FOR HER BEFORE WHY WOULD IT NOW. MAYBE SHE SHOULD SELL SOME OF HER HOMES, CARS, HANDBAGS & SHOES. SHE'S GOT PLENTY OF MONEY. SO DOES MOMMY!!!!!

A sponsor? Is she for real? No one needs to pay for her rehab. Lots of people go to state run rehabs and stay clean. It's whether or not she wants to stay clean or not.She got a settlement for E-Trade. Her mother must have money. Her sister Ali must have made money off of her short lived music career fiasco.It was okay for Ali to live with Lindsay. Help out your big sis. What about momma Lohan? I bet Daddy Michael is looking pretty good now. She needs to sell some of her crap. She blew her money on drugs and shoes and now people are suppose to feel sorry for her? she can't get a job except for a porn star? Imagine that.I know this doesn't concern me, but i can't help but be really pissed about this. She had the chance to make her life better but she screwed up again when the judge gave her a break. She is not above anyone else. Grow up and find a way out of this mess you got yourself into. You get a sponsor and screw up again, who are you going to blame then huh? Oh, i forgot. Daddy is the cause of everything. Not you, or your fame seeking family (mom,dad, sister). Grow up Lindsay and take care of yourself.
