Lindsay Can't Afford Rehab; Looking for a Sponsor

You would think that Lindsay Lohan would be jumping for joy since a judge decided to order her back to rehab rather than to jail, however, sources tell me neither option made the troubled actress very happy. Why? Because the strapped 'Mean Girls' star will now need to find a sponsor to help cover her bill at the Betty Ford Center.

"Lindsay can't afford to pay for treatment," a friend told me after Superior Court Judge Elden Fox ordered her to remain there until Jan. 3. "Three months at the facility will cost her almost $50,000, which she doesn't have."

Lohan's probation report confirms that the star's "clothing line is falling apart because she is not available to monitor the product," and any money she hoped to earn from filming 'Inferno' will have to wait until she leaves rehab.

"There is simply no money left," an insider tells me. "Lindsay manages to live high off the generosity of others; however, asking for free clothes and dinners at fancy restaurants is one thing, asking for $50,000 cash is something totally different. Her people tried and failed to sell her first post rehab interview for big bucks, so her only option now is to find some sort of sponsor."

Or maybe find a cheaper rehab, Lindsay!

Don't they say you have to hit rock bottom before you can climb up out of it? If she loses the clothing line, can't get a job and sees that it's all because of her drug use and the penalties that go with it, maybe she'll wake the hell up. This is what's called being accountable for yourself.When u party all the time, then get in a car all this can happen 2 u.

It's so tragic...maybe Bill Gates will help her? She should ask him he has been helping disaster relief and maybe she qualifies?

The person she should really ask is Mel Gibson because he needs to do something nice for someone and this could be just the right thing!

She should have been tied like any other citizen. Hell the Judge who sent her to rehab. should also serve 5 to 10 for going easy of lohan. Why should her parents step-up, they did not push the drugs and booze on her. Lohan made up her mind to abuse, so let the girls pay for her crimes, and get a real Judge to send her to jail.

It is frustrating to see Lindsey in and out of rehab and its like the law officials just keep giving her additional chances. In my opinion she should have gone to jail, not hanging out at some cushy rehab she can't even afford. And I am sorry I am not going to feel sorry for you Lindsey...my husband and I both work and have good jobs and still struggle with real world things like mortgage, bills, and daycare for the kids. Can't feel sorry for someone who has designer clothes, 2 new cars, etc. Seriously girl sell some of your stuff and you should have no issue paying for rehab.

Help a poor child with cancer, help a returning military person that now has physical and mental challenges but please do not waste your money on a proven loser.
