T.I. Gets Drug Possession Charges Dropped, Still to Serve Time

T.I. finally got some good news. The L.A. County District Attorney has dropped the drug case against the rapper stemming from his September 1 arrest for possession of a controlled substance, according to TMZ. The bad news: he still has to go to jail.

TMZ reports there were some legal problems that stalled the case, making it difficult for prosecutors to move forward.

T.I.'s attorney, Steve Sadow, released a statement congratulating the decision, saying it was the "right thing to do under the circumstances." Sadow continued, "[I commend] the Los Angeles district attorney's office for exercising its discretion to reject prosecution in light of the legal and factual issues involved."

Before the arrest, the rapper was on probation after serving 10 months in prison for possession of federal weapons. He's going back to jail for federal weapon posession, not for the drug charges. Even Linndsay and Paris didn't do that. They should be doing more time, but it's not a black thing so don't play the race card until you read and take in all the facts. Because next time it is a recial thing, people are less likely to believe it or even care. "I'm just saying".

It's like this, they are human just like you and I, and just like you and I, everybody has a right to their opinion, but when we start judging these folks because of their repetitive mistakes, we start to forget that they are regular people like us, and that we all have made mistakes, big mistakes and small ones, but we all have been forgiven. So don't get mad with each other because you have different views about these things, pray for them, and move on. We all have to face the consequences from the bad decisions that we make. T.I., R Kelly, Lindsey, Paris, Mel Gibson, etc.....all are famous, and got money, but are still regular people like us!
