T.I. finally got some good news. The L.A. County District Attorney has dropped the drug case against the rapper stemming from his September 1 arrest for possession of a controlled substance, according to TMZ. The bad news: he still has to go to jail.TMZ reports there were some legal problems that stalled the case, making it difficult for prosecutors to move forward.
T.I.'s attorney, Steve Sadow, released a statement congratulating the decision, saying it was the "right thing to do under the circumstances." Sadow continued, "[I commend] the Los Angeles district attorney's office for exercising its discretion to reject prosecution in light of the legal and factual issues involved."
