Charlie Sheen Headed Back to Work This Week

An alleged drunken, naked, hotel-trashing outburst in New York won't keep Charlie Sheen from his work.

The actor is set to return to the set of his hit CBS sitcom 'Two and a Half Men' very soon, PEOPLE reports.

"Charlie will be working this week doing a cameo role, playing himself, in a small movie as a favor to a friend and has every intention of going back to work on 'Two and a Half Men' on Tuesday," his manager told PEOPLE. "He's looking forward to working."

Sheen was discharged from the hospital Tuesday night after police reportedly found the actor drunk and naked in a trashed room an New York's Plaza Hotel.

Police gave Sheen a choice between jail and treatment, and he was subsequently admitted to a New York hospital, accompanied by ex-wife Denise Richards. Sheen's rep, Stan Rosenfield, tells PopEater, "Charlie had an allergic reaction to some medication."

A source told Life & Style magazine that the star was entertaining an escort at the time of his alleged outburst. "She was fearing for her life and was naked," the source says of the woman, who was allegedly hiding in the hotel room closet. "Charlie was incoherent but started screaming slurs at the cops."

Richards didn't wait long to comment on the incident. In an exclusive interview with LX New York, the actress said, "If Charley wants to discuss it, that's his choice ... I don't want to get into it" and that "it's a private matter." She also said that her kids "have no idea" about the hotel fracas and that she "does her best to protect them from certain things."
