Padma Lakshmi Runs 70 Flights of Stairs Before Hitting the GymAlthough Padma Lakshmi gave birth to her first child in February, you'd never know it by looking at her slim physique. The former model isn't coy about the rigorous workouts she endures to keep her figure, though, adding she's not only combating baby weight but all those extra calories she consumes on the 'Top Chef' set.

At The ELLEments of Personal Style book launch party in NYC, she told PopEater: "I woke up at 6AM, I nursed. Then I ran up and down 70 flights of stairs. Then I had breakfast, then went to the gym and lifted weights for an hour. Then I walked home." Whew!

Despite the hectic schedule, Padma is focusing on her daughter, Krishna. "She's great. She's crawling," she gushed about the 8-month-old. And with the baby's first Halloween right around the corner, Padma plans to celebrate with her little lady, although she hasn't bought any costumes yet. "I'm going to dress up, but I haven't figured out what I'm going to wear," she told us.
