'The Rocky Horror Glee Show': What Did You Think?

'Glee' aired its 'Rocky Horror' tribute episode last night after much buzz and build-up. The show's musical producer told PopEater yesterday 'The Rocky Horror Glee Show' was meant as "an ode to the original" rather than a remake. "We freshen it up a little bit," Adam Anders said.

The episode included memorable renditions of 'The Time Warp,' 'Over at the Frankenstein Place,' 'Sweet Transvestite,' and 'Dammit Janet.' Reviews are cascading in on both extremely positive and negative fronts.

'Glee' is known for its homage episodes. Last season, we saw McKinley High's tribute to Madonna and more recently, the glee club tackled Britney Spears.

Didn't like last nights show as well as most.

I enjoyed it-I remeber back in 1981 seeing it for the first time. -I thought it was cool that Meatloaf and Barry Bostwick did cameos-would have been better if they could have got Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon too. Realistically though there is NO way a high school could ever put that on-the song ttttouch me-I want to feel dirty a perfect example. But in the make belief land it was entertaining.

I love this , So does My boyfriend .he is almost 11year older than me .i met him via age'gapsingles.c'om a nice place for seeking age le ss love.which gives you a chance to make your life better and open opportunities for you to meet the attractive young girls and treat you like a king. Maybe you wanna check it out or tell your friends..

I LOVED it!!! I saw the Movie for the 1st time as a teen back in '81. To be able to watch with MY 15 year old football playing,glee loving son was WONDERFUL!! I thought it was just the right amount of sexy for glee but yet held true to the original Rocky Horror that we all LOVE. I ADORE GLEE!!
Sometimes when I watch this show, I am transformed into
THAT time again in high school. It really helps my son and & relate on a level that lets him know that I DO understand the things he's going through! WTG Glee!!! Keep up the wonderful work!!

I STILL can't even get into the movie. I've tried a couple of times to watch it and I can't get past 30 minutes. It sucks.

Glee did good with this episode. They stayed true to Richard O'Briens main Rocky Horror message of "dont dream it, be it", obviously paid attention to the film and fans as they captured the spirit of the Rocky Horror scene, and understood the heart of what Rocky Horror people are about: we dont do the show to break boundries or to please the critics , we do it for ourselves, its our "home".
The producers of this episode were limited by TV censors, and thus had to change some of the lyrics, and the costumes were not "movie accurate", but so what? This is TV, not a midnight showing at a movie theater. Looking beyond the limitations, this episode was fun, well done, and paid honor to the Rocky Horror Picture Show

I enjoyed the episode, but missed seeing Puck in a role. He would have made a great Dr. F. The cast did a terrific job.

Didn't like the show. I have been very disappointed in Glee since the new season started. I absolutely loved last year's shows. This year; NOT so much.

My sister warned me when the Time Warp video came out last week to not even bother watching it. I am a fan of the movie, and she knew I would find a lot of faults in it. She said the highlight was John Stamos acting out Eddie. I don't think she had much else to say on a positive level, and she is a "Gleek."

I was looking forward to it, but I was disappointed. I have to agree with Carol (above) about this season. John Stamos is still hot, though.

Glee has lost some of it's glimmer this season for sure. I was a bit disappointed with the Rocky Horror episode, although their rendition of Time Warp was spot on! I really love Mercedes, but casting her as Frank-N-Furter was just bad.

It was "mediocre" if you're a Rocky Horror fan. It was a good display of the talent of the cast though. Major disappointment was the re:casting of the gender of Frankenfurter (the gal was sensational - no knock on her at all). Still enjoy the original - even with the age of it, it still has a cutting-edge feel to it.

HORRIBLE!

My ears were practically bleeding from how horrible they were singing. Off tune and wasn't it auto-tuned to begin with!? LOL Some songs are meant to be left alone.

Not a Rocky Horror fan but I watched cause I love Glee. I have to say I liked the Glee cast doing these songs more than in the movie because the characters are so likeable. Liked the cameos and seeing the Will character acting like an idiot over Emma. Cute
