Boyfriends Beware: Taylor Swift Will Write a Song About You

While Taylor Swift has kept mum regarding speculation that her latest single, 'Dear John', is about rumored ex John Mayer, the songstress doesn't deny that she has a habit of calling out the boys who break her heart.

PEOPLE reports that the singer opened up, but didn't apologize for, her bold lyrical choices, saying, "This is album No. 3, so I figure that these people have had fair warning."

Swift, who was recently spotted with Jake Gyllenhaal in New York City, may be open when it comes to her romantic relationships, but her songs aren't always critical of her former flames. The singer, who dated Taylor Lautner in 2009, penned apology song 'Back to December' for the 'Twilight' hunk on her most recent album, 'Speak Now'.

So why can't the boys stay away? Perhaps it's the songstress' alluring fragrance. In a recent interview with David Letterman, the TV host told Swift, "Please don't take this the wrong way, but you smell like expensive wood. It's very good."

I am all for calling out anyone who breaks your heart or works you over, I am sure
to Mayer it's just an ego boost no matter what it says- she cannot write or sing
so who cares? It's depressing to know that a talent like Jake G would waste five minutes
on a Lucky Hall of Famer like her

Words are manufactured, they never speak real volume unless they're about something truly in your heart. She should make a song and go into a chorus; "LUV SUKS LUV SUKS LUV SUKS" It does and so o stupid love songs. Country girls are no better than POP. She's an American girl raised in an era of boundless opportunity in an affluent home, with intelligence, looks and talent. She can pretty much write anything she wants, and a young six-foot blonde has a lot of relationships growing up. Blame the boys...she's just reflecting life, and obviously she touches a lot of places in legions of girls who follow her. Oh, yeah, she also believes in true love, which girls all want to do too. When you're a multi-millionaire at 20 and famous you can sample the goods out there. 99% of people would do the same if given the opportunity, I bet.

Taylor Swift is a beautiful young LADY (unlike the trash such as gaga, brittany, and some of the other so called "singers")who has a talent that is genuine. She has the talent and the ability to write and sing songs about her feelings - feelings that most young girls experience as they grow up. I would much rather have had my daughters listen to her kind of music than madonna or the other trashy singers that were around while they were growing up.(Capital letters eliminated in names not worth bothering to capitalize!)

I don't understand all the hoopla about Taylor Swift...she looks like an angel, but I saw her on Letterman last night and her voice sounded kind of thin..I don't think she can really sing, and the song STANK

After all the news and hoopla, with a little trepedation I got her third album today. IT IS GREAT! The girl is a songwriting genius, and fifty years from now everyone will take that totally for granted. She's the best thing in American culture today gang. 'Nuff said.
