Camille Grammer: 'Real Housewives' Part of 'Kelsey's Agenda'

Kelsey Grammer's Ex, Camille, Brings the Drama on Latest 'Real Housewives' Cast

Camille Grammer, the soon-to-be ex-wife of 'Frasier' star Kelsey Grammer, may have found fame on 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,' but the transition into the spotlight was anything but her idea. Camille, who has two young children with Grammer, believes, in hindsight, that her husband may have pushed her to do the show to cover up his alleged infidelity.

Camille, who calls herself a "very private person" says that it was Kelsey who recommended she sign on to the project. She tells the New York Post, "Looking back, maybe he wanted to keep me preoccupied in California while he was off having his affair in New York...it was more Kelsey's agenda."

Since calling it quits with Camille, Kelsey has publicly discussed his new relationship with 29-year-old girlfriend Kayte Walsh, telling media outlets "We are in love." The actor announced in early October that Walsh had suffered a miscarriage.

While the decline of the Grammer marriage is not explicitly mentioned on 'RHOBH,' the tension caused by her impending divorce fueled many of Camille's frustrations. "My marriage was falling apart and I had to deal with the cattiness of the women on the show," she explains, saying, "When I signed on, I didn't think I would be going through a divorce in the middle of shooting a reality show."

Camille says she maintained her composure despite the stress. "I really had to hold back a lot," she says. "I really had to be conscientious of what I was saying and putting out there."

While she says "I don't respect what he did to me and my family. I am not happy with the way it went down," she hopes to eventually bury the hatchet with her ex. "I hope when the dust settles we can remain friends. I also would like to continue to work with my husband. I think he is a very talented man."

many of you are overly crtical of Camille...you were not there and you are doing nothing but guessing and speculating..has it ever occurred to you that Kelsey was the one who was lost..men don't cheat for the same reasons as women..it's how they feel about THEMSELVES while they are with the other woman...that is what egocentric is about.

@ mark: Really?! That is so often said, it is such BS! Men cheat when things are great at home. The wife/girlfriend can be a fantastic partner, support system, mother, lover. She can be beautiful, inside and out; great in bed, honest, capable, dependable, funny -- all of the things that most of us look for in a great relationship. But when presented with an opportunity to have sex with someone new and different, they go for it. And I'm fully aware that women will cheat for the same reasons. I'm just sick and tired of people saying, "Well, if things were right at home, he/she never would have cheated." A lot of people just have no respect - for the relationship they're in, or for the relationship they're about to upset. Grammer is a jerk. He should have divorced her before seeking some new "strange."

Ok first of all, none of the housewives are attractive, they all look like desperate women TRYING to look young, they are more scary than attractive.
Camille said he is very talented, but on the first show, she claimed she is responsible for keeping fraizer alive. She is a low life excuse for a woman who brags too much about what she does.
Camille needs TSTFU and take care of her children.

Can't stand her on the show...she is so self absorbed and blatanly flirting with all the husbands & her "friend"...c'mon...she was even implying that something was going on with him. No wonder Kelsey "strayed"

I would enjoy show so much more if Camille was not on it! So what she has homes and nannies. I feel she was looking for what she got. Grammer is a jerk-never any good reason to cheat, but OMG how did he stand her for 13 yrs? Does she remind him "she saved frazier's life"? What does she mean she values her privacy? How does her BFF like her telling everyone what she did to help them out? If you do something out of love for someone you do not tell the world. Seems she is looking for a pat on the back. Camille I really do not care for you, does anyone?

I have always considered Kelsey very talented and I like his politics but he has really disappointed me with his conduct. He has had several wives and evidently can't stay with one woman.

Question of respect for Sheen ? First you have to have respect for someone in order to loose it. I didn't and don't. To me he is just another worthless Mexican, both he and his Papa that are nothing but Liberals like all of those in the acting business. Camille she does not bring anything on the show.She used a surrogate to make babies for her.....she owns a ''big rich house''because of Kelsey.She flirts with the wives husbands.She's troubles for the show.

Marriage is about respect and that goes for having an affair. The person that cheats is very disrespectful. You could be the best person in a relationship and it doesn't make the spouse stay. You have to have morals which a lot of people don't have these days. The media has made it seem like everyone should cheat and it is all right, it is not!!
