Mike Tyson Would Have Worked With Mel Gibson on 'The Hangover 2'

Mike Tyson is one 'Hangover 2' cast member who wouldn't have had any problem acting alongside
Mel Gibson, according to
Page Six.
"I'm not going to ever in my life point my finger at anyone. I don't live in a glass house. None of us do. I work with anybody, as long as they're respectful," Tyson said, adding he would "100 percent" have worked with Gibson. The former heavyweight champion will fly to Thailand next month to reprise his role in the comedy sequel.
According to a statement from 'Hangover' director Todd Phillips, an in-progress Gibson cameo was loudly
vetoed by the film's cast. "I thought Mel would have been great in the movie," Phillips wrote. "But I realize filmmaking is a collaborative effort, and this decision ultimately did not have the full support of my entire cast and crew."
Of the rage the 'Braveheart' star exhibited in leaked audio rants this summer, Tyson said: "We all have that guy -- a Mel Gibson -- in us. We just don't want people to be exposed to it. Maybe he needs to go get help. We all need help, and need someone to talk to. I'm not against him, but I'm not for him."
When Gibson was quickly
replaced by
Liam Neeson, an insider told Page Six that Mel was downright "
furious" about getting the boot, then went on to mention Tyson by name: "He doesn't understand why Mike Tyson, a drug user [and convicted rapist, as EW.com pointed out] who turned his life around, was given a chance while Mel was kicked to the curb. Everybody deserves a second chance."
It's been speculated that Zach Galifianakis
may have been the reason Gibson was forced out of the sequel. Speaking on the Comedy Death-Ray podcast recently, Galifianakis said, "A movie you're acting in, you don't have a lot of control -- you just show up and vomit your lines out. I'm not the boss. I'm in a deep protest right now with a movie I'm working on, up in arms about something. But I can't get the guys to [listen] ... I'm not making any leeway."
Pressed for details, Galifianakis wouldn't identify 'The Hangover 2' or Mel Gibson by name, but added: "It has something to do with a movie I'm working on, yeah. I'll tell you about it later. It's very frustrating."

That holier than thou attitude should serve Zach well in what's left of his carreer.

Sorry I do not believe that "we all have that guy in us." I know Tyson does, he's proved it over and over again. Not everyone is a lunatic deep down inside.

At this point I am tired of this whole thing. And Tyson is the last person I want to hear from regarding Gibson.

Hmmmm. Zach: Who should I believe. Hollywood icon, great actor, great director or russian money grubbing secret tape recording psycho. This is too difficult for a star of my stature. I should ask my friends what to do. Yeah, that's the ticket.

I heard that Jeff Robinov, Ari Emanuel and David Perel all go to the same synagogue.
