PETA Offers to Help Pay Lindsay Lohan's Rehab Bill

Lindsay Lohan has lined up an attractive offer that may get her some cash, but the role is less meaty than her usual parts. Upon hearing that the actress was struggling to pay her $50,000 rehab bill at the Betty Ford Center, animal rights group PETA has offered the actress $20,000 if she adopts a vegan diet.

E! reports that PETA head Michelle Cho reached out to Lohan, telling the actress, "As you know, a crucial part of any recovery is showing charity to others. One way to do this is to be kind to animals, the Earth, and your own body. You'll never regret it."

PETA did give some conditions to their offer, including the fact that Lohan will get just $10,000 if she decides to be vegan only during her stay at Betty Ford, but will receive the full amount if she sticks to the plan for a year after she completes treatment.

The actress, who is currently kicking her cocaine habit at the famed substance abuse clinic, was reportedly hoping to find a sponsor to foot the bill for her stay. It's unclear whether or not she'll accept PETA's offer.

If going meat-free doesn't appeal to her, there's always a back-up plan: Porn site Tube8 says that they will shoulder the full cost of her treatment if she signs on as a marketing consultant. The extra bonus? Unlimited access to the site's content.

PETA is nuts for sure now,,how can they take money from people??,,And then offer to give it to someone for their Rehab. if she will only only eat veggies??? Someone needs to check into this Peta,,,makes you wonder what they have been doing with all this money that has been donated to them. Something is not right here with this PETA...Well if they give money to people for eating just veggies,,well then send me some becasue I can't even afford to buy meat. Now we all know PETA robs people of their hard earned money.

No no no.... if she cant be in the remake of DEEP THROAT... she should have to remake DEBBIE DOES DALLAS... or LOHAN DOES DALLAS to pay off her bills... Peta go away!

If Peta gives her one dime I am thru with them. She is a liar let her pay her own bills or go to the county rehab.Who does she or Peta think she is.Does Peta realize how many desering homeless animals can be saved> I doubt if she eats, she is a crack head remember.

Oh good, now she can get paid to sneak around and eat meat just like sneaking around being a fallen down drunk has paid off for her and the tabloids! As long as she isn't driving around loaded do we really care what she eats and drinks?? PETA does cause they have nothing better to do since I don't ever see any evidence that they really help animals. They lost my vote when they spoke out against "Steve Erwin" who spent his life respecting animals and his family still does.

I would not give her a penny for her stay in rehab. She was stupid enough to blow (literally) her money on booze and drugs and now is asking for help to pay her bill? Maybe the govt will foot the bill, they do for everything else
