Giuliana and Bill: 'We're Ready to Try for a Baby Again'

Since Giuliana and Bill Rancic shared their sad story about losing their baby, they have received thousands of e-mails from people sharing similar stories and support and even dozens of serious requests from potential surrogates. But after taking time away to, as Giuliana puts it, "kiss, hug, hold hands and tell each other how much we loved each other," the couple is ready to try once more.

"We're ready to try again and we feel more optimistic than ever that we will have good news in the New Year. 2011 is our year," Bill tells me.

"From this experience we've learned everything really does happen for a reason and God works in mysterious ways. When we do get pregnant again, that will be the baby we were supposed to have and we will never take parenthood for granted," says Giuliana.

However, this decision did not come easy. "We took a much needed break from all the fertility stuff to connect with each other again. We had been trying for so long to have a child that the whole process had consumed us. A break was crucial to make sure our marriage stayed strong and as fun as it always was," Bill reveals to me.

Giuliana agrees that taking a break from "worrying about shots, doctor's visits, ultrasounds and blood tests was just what the doctor ordered."

The couple went to a relaxing resort in the desert where they could just be themselves again and reconnect.

"Since the loss, we love one another even more than before and our marriage is the best it's ever been," Bill tells me. They went to bed late, slept in all morning and got back to the way they were as a couple before they started trying to conceive. And now that they are ... we wish them the best of luck.

ANNOUNCEMENT

The man is not pregnant. Stop saying, "we are pregnant", "when we get pregnant", or "we want to get pregnant." What moron started saying this?

It is only the woman who is pregnant. This is irritating to those of us who understand biology.

I SINCERELY WISH THEM LUCK AND A HEALTHY BABY VERY SOON. HOWEVER, LIKE ONE OF THE WOMEN ON THE VIEW SAID "GAIN SOME WEIGHT, YOU ARE NOT A STAR, JUST A PERSONALAITY ON TV". Ok, while these two seem really sincere, maybe they should take a break from television at this time. To have a show revolving around getting pregnant puts way too much pressure on them.

Good luck! You guys wil make great parents!You guys are such n insperation to everyone of not giving up! I'm only a teen and have learned that if you really want something not to give up on it (and no I AM NOT PLANNING ON HAVING A BABY FOR LIKE 20 YEARS!) but in general I wanted to thank you for giving me the spirit to not give up!

Really? You think these two would make good parents? Do you really think these psudo celebrities will be there every day 24/7 to rear a child? They will expose their child(dren) to a stupid reality TV show and they will raised by nannys.YES they will be wonderfull.Selfish people DONT make good parents!! If someone cant gain 10 lbs to help have a healthy baby do you really thinbk she will make a good parent?

Every one has there own opinion about this TV show, because that's what it is. People in real life want to make money so
they get to make a show about an everyday unfortunate occurence.
True others are in love, others have the sadness of not getting pregnant or of losing the child. But when your like Bill and have been on TV several times, you find a way to make your story
profitable. We all feel bad that they cannot have a child, but
they still may and with all the more important things in the world, let us not argue, we cannot change it.
