Is Jessica Simpson Pregnant? Not So Much

Like egg nog at Christmastime, the "Jessica Simpson Is Pregnant!" headline has become something of an annual tradition for the tabloids. This time, it's via the National Enquirer, which quotes a "friend" that says Simpson and boyfriend Eric Johnson are so "crazy in love" that "they've decided to make a baby."

But a member of Simpson's inner circle tells PopEater that the singer-actress is most certainly not expecting.

Another source tells us that "for years, people have been saying she's pregnant," so this is nothing new. As always, the pregnancy reports are being fueled by two different happenings in her life: a blissful relationship and fluctuating weight.

These days, the 30-year-old Simpson doesn't hesitate to gush about Johnson whenever asked.

"He definitely makes me very happy," she told USA Today last week. "He brings out a lot of light in me and makes me very comfortable being who I am. It's nice to be with somebody who praises you for the right reasons."

In the same interview, she daydreamed about having kids in the not-too-distant future. "I am from the South, so I've definitely dreamed of being married my whole life and having children, so hopefully that's in my future."

As for her weight, Simpson was spotted on Tuesday at Maria Shriver's Women's Conference wearing black form-fitting pants and a long shirt. While her figure is certainly in voluptuous-mode, it is no different than it has been several times throughout her career.

No.....she looks like a normal woman, unlike the sticks most men think are attractive. A healthy woman allows herself nourishment. At least any man snuggling up to Jessica won't get cut on any sharp bones sticking out. Men like you are what's wrong with America. Women are no longer pieces of meat owned by men. It's the same as women deeming anything less than a musclebound Mr. Universe type unworthy and unattractive. Let's sneer at and make fun of all men not meeting that criteria, shall we? I'm willing to bet that you don't fit into the musclebound group, am I right? There is nothing wrong with a woman who has curves anymore than there is with a woman who is *naturally* thin. Variety/diversity is the spice of life, so quit trying to force all women into one mold. It's her life, but I don't understand why she thinks that she has to immediately go into a relationship as soon as a previous one ends. IMO, I think that she should take a break in between men and breathe a little.

It is impossible to fall out of love. Love is such a powerful emotion, that once it envelops you it does not depart. True love is eternal. If you think that you were once in love, but fell out of it, then it wasn't love you were in. There are no 'exit' signs in love, there is only an 'on' ramp. Jessica is a beautiful woman but I saw her on "Project Runway" the other night and I took a double take . I couldn't believe how much weight she has gained at least 50 pounds . She is much larger than this picture they are showing here . But if she's happy that's all that matters .

I think she looks great. As for being "in love" well I think she's *in love with being in love*. She may be slightly immature emotionally. Up to this point everyone "has made her happy" but none of her relationships have lasted, so we'll see what happens with this one.

Jessica is a beautiful but troubled girl. What amazes me is the big deal she made about being a virgin until she got married but now she is sleeping around like nobody business. Nick must be so happy she is no longer in his life. He has been with just one girl since their divorce so that tells me a great deal about his character. Jessica on the other hand has been in love so many times. She said Tony Romo was her Sunday so I guess Eric is her Monday. I think he is using her. He is still married although he is getting a divorce. What does that say about little miss goody preacher daughter.

The cretins that say she's fat do not know what a woman is supposed to look like. Woman are supposed to have curves and a slightly rounded "pooch". Most young guys in the past decade seem to idolize prepubescent girls (or boys)- because that is what the standard for "built well" is these days.
