Is LeAnn Rimes engaged? Not exactly. Over the weekend, Rimes' boyfriend, actor Eddie Cibrian, tweeted this photo of him kneeling while a shocked Rimes looks on.
"I couldn't resist..." he tweeted Sunday evening.
But sources tell PEOPLE the photo was just a joke. "They are not engaged," says a source close to Rimes. "It was just part of the Halloween fun."
Rimes and Cibrian met and began a relationship while filming the 2008 Lifetime television movie 'Northern Lights.' Both were married at the time but have since divorced their spouses to be together. She ended her 7-year marriage to Dean Sheremet, admitting in June that they worked on their relationship after her infidelity became public but decided "it wasn't a marriage that fulfilled either one of us."

If you are incapable of being faithful, but easily go astray and can participate in infidelity.....it's the person you are inside, whether people consider it a character flaw or lack of self control or immoral...whatever. There are those who DO and those who Do NOT....and don't allow themselves the opportunity or place themselves in the face of temptation. The Reality and bottom line is....IF YOU'RE THE "TYPE" TO STRAY AND CHEAT....YOU'LL DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.....SO WHOMEVER YOU CHEAT WITH IS SIMPLY THE NEXT IN LINE. My good friend Dave left his wife and married a woman who left her husband for him. Years later when I saw him, he was single, bemoaning the fact that his wife had an affair...."REALLY?" I said. "Imagine that."

I don't know but I'd consider cheating and leave my spouse IF it was for someone as HOT as Eddie Cibrian. He's a handsome devil certainly. LeAnn, however, I think is a hound dog (with a beautiful howl).

One more thing......to the woman who left her nasty abusive husband because she found a kind and loving man and has been finally happy and secure......that's a horse of a different color. No one would blame you. We all have a right to be happy and feel safe and loved. A sociopath has no right to expect any one to be loyal and devoted to them. Controlling, cruel and abusive individuals have no business in a relationship in the first place. I'm happy for you.....glad you escaped safely.

I have never understood why people get married if the aren't willing to be faithful.The best indicator of the future is the past,once a cheat always a cheat. The question is not who will cheat but who will cheat first.
