Bachelor Jake Pavelka Has a New Girlfriend

Jake Pavelka may be putting his 'Bachelor' days behind him, thanks to new girlfriend Meghan Jones!

The reality show contestant, who split from fiancee Vienna Girardi over the summer, has been dating Jones for a few months and tells PEOPLE he is relieved to find a relationship off-screen.

"[It's] nice," he says. "It's normal."

Despite his desire for privacy, Pavelka, a pilot, hasn't stayed totally out of the public eye. Following his stint on 'The Bachelor,' he competed on the tenth season of 'Dancing With the Stars,' as well as guest-starring on Lifetime's 'Drop Dead Diva." Pavelka has more small-screen stardom in his future as well and has been working on a new series. He says, "I can't tell you anything more about it yet, [but] it's 18 episodes."

In his downtime, Pavelka is still taking part in the same hobbies he pursued before his television career took off, including "flying planes and training and competing in triathlons."

Although he and Jones, a Dallas-based wedding planner, are currently balancing their careers with their long-distance relationship, Pavelka doesn't seem to find the mix too taxing. "One of the greatest things about being a pilot is being able to jump on a plane to Australia spur of the moment," he says.

I noticed that too! I have a feeling this guy is more controlling than he would ever have anyone believe! I thought, at first, that he was a good guy, but after his obnoxious break-up with Vienna, I'm not so sure! Not that I'm siding with her, because I'm not. I didn't like her either. But I think he showed some real potential to be downright nasty!I love this , So does My boyfriend .he is almost 11year older than me .i met him via agegapsingl es.c 'om a nice place for seeking age le ss love.which gives you a chance to make your life better and open opportunities for you to meet the attractive young girls and treat you like a king. I am glad he found some one else. Vienna was a spoiled brat and a phony from the beginning.He deserves to be happy and this girl is also 100 times better looking then Vienna and I hope she is good to him. He will be good to her for sure.

Something about this guy is sooooo very cheesy. He is such a fake and I acutally feel sorry for the new girl. I have some doubts about him as in his masculinity, because he does not treat woman very well. Anyway, couldn't care less about him.

No, I don't like Jake either, but I don't think he's gay. I think he's just one of those controlling jerks.

However, I would like to say something about the apparent misconception regarding gay men. Over the years, I've had occasion to be acquainted with several gay men. I've NEVER known one to treat a woman rudely or badly. Every gay man I've ever met has been extremely intelligent, artistic and courteous. The bonus of social contacts with gay men (especially for a married woman) is that you never have to worry about them 'hitting' on you (in any fashion). :)

I agree, Sharon, I have a number of gay men as friends and they are the absolute best friends a girl can have - they really understand you when you share your issues with them but they can give and explain the male point of view as well. My gay men friends are great cultural interpretors for me! (Regarding the mysteries of the other sex) :)
