Bachelor Jake Pavelka Has a New Girlfriend

Jake Pavelka may be putting his 'Bachelor' days behind him, thanks to new girlfriend Meghan Jones!

The reality show contestant, who split from fiancee Vienna Girardi over the summer, has been dating Jones for a few months and tells PEOPLE he is relieved to find a relationship off-screen.

"[It's] nice," he says. "It's normal."

Despite his desire for privacy, Pavelka, a pilot, hasn't stayed totally out of the public eye. Following his stint on 'The Bachelor,' he competed on the tenth season of 'Dancing With the Stars,' as well as guest-starring on Lifetime's 'Drop Dead Diva." Pavelka has more small-screen stardom in his future as well and has been working on a new series. He says, "I can't tell you anything more about it yet, [but] it's 18 episodes."

In his downtime, Pavelka is still taking part in the same hobbies he pursued before his television career took off, including "flying planes and training and competing in triathlons."

Although he and Jones, a Dallas-based wedding planner, are currently balancing their careers with their long-distance relationship, Pavelka doesn't seem to find the mix too taxing. "One of the greatest things about being a pilot is being able to jump on a plane to Australia spur of the moment," he says.

I noticed that too! I have a feeling this guy is more controlling than he would ever have anyone believe! I thought, at first, that he was a good guy, but after his obnoxious break-up with Vienna, I'm not so sure! Not that I'm siding with her, because I'm not. I didn't like her either. But I think he showed some real potential to be downright nasty!

This is not news, this person jake is not important. Yes, he looks happy with his new girlfriend. Did he not look happy in the pictures with "what's-her'name"from the show? He seeks publicity. He couldn't get back on the Bachelor, so he's taking another route, that's all. He found another lady to use to bring himself into the public eye. Again. Bored now.

This young woman needs to take a good long look at this man; the woman he chose on that inane show was hardly one a guy would take home to Mom but she had a lucky escape from this egocentric clown. This relationship will last a few months before he finds he cannot control her any more.

To Jake P, the past bachelor, I enjoyed Jake so much on the bachelor, I have a nephew who he looks like, that I am very fond of, so he won me over, BUT, I do not think his choice was a good one, Vienna , to me was not right from the start, something there was not right for the two of them!! I am in the great grandmother stages, so I am sure I have a differnt perspective than a lot of young gals have about Jake, he seemed to me, to be a good guy, and I thought SHE was the nasty one on the break up, on nation wide TV. Jake I am glad you are moving on, hope you find the right one and will be happy !! No one is perfect, and no one is absent of fault, They just were not meant to be together!!
