Kiefer Sutherland, best known for his tough-guy roles in TV and film, is taking on a new challenge: Broadway. The actor is scheduled to make his debut on the Great White Way In February, 2011 in Jason Miller's play 'That Championship Season.' The L.A. Times reports that Sutherland will be joined on-stage by Brian Cox, Jim Gaffigan, Chris Noth, and Jason Patric.
The playwright, who is most famous for his role as Father Karras in 'The Exorcist,' previously adapted 'That Championship Season' for the screen in 1982.

No matter what he plays in he is a hero...24 was my favorite show and he made the show. I wish they would bring that back to TV because what replaced 24 is not worh a darn, and not worth watching.

I know the play well (it's
terrific) and Sutherland will be very good in it.

A play not worth reviving.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't Jason Patric Jason Miller's son?

FYI, Jason Patric's father, Jason Miller, wrote "That Championship Season." You may remember Jason Miller best as Father Karras in "The Exorcist."

wait... will this be the first time Kiefer talks to his former best friend Jason Patric after he ran away with Julia Roberts and left Kiefer at the alter?

I'd watch Keifer in anything. He is fantastic! I will miss 24 greatly when it's time for it and there isn't one. It will always be one of my very favorite shows of all time.

Yes, is this the SAME Jason Patric who ran off with Keifer's former fiance, Julia Roberts?
Should be fun.
