Kendra Wilkinson: 'I'm a Single Parent Now'

Kendra Wilkinson is taking on her toughest challenge -- being an almost single parent.

The former 'Girls Next Door' star decided she would move back to Los Angeles with 11-month-old son Hank, while husband Hank Baskett is in Minnesota playing for the Vikings.

"Not having Hank around hurts," Kendra told Life & Style. "Moving across the country by myself makes me think of my own mom who raised me and my brother alone. Hank's not going to be there forever, but with him not physically here, I'm a single parent now."

Baskett, who signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in March but was cut in September, found a spot with the Vikings. Wilkinson, however, didn't want to live in Minnesota.

"I fit in well in Philly, and I could relate to all the people, but the West Coast is my home. This is where all my family and friends are," she adds.

"When Hank left I felt lonely. He's my everything. Nobody else can really fill that loneliness," Wilkinson says.

The pair will still get to spend some time together.

"I'm going to go back to the minus-2-degree weather to spend Thanksgiving, baby Hank's 1st birthday and Christmas in a small one bedroom hotel room with my husband and son. That's all that matters to me."

What ever happend to "for better or worse"???? I guess her vows are conditional - based on weather and location?? This girl is so unbelievably selfish and stupid. Family sticks together and if you're lucky enough to be blessed with a husband who loves you and beautiful child - you fight for that no matter what. She doesn't deserve what she has.I love this , So does My boyfriend .he is almost 11year older than me .i met him via agegapsingl es.c 'om a nice place for seeking age le ss love.which gives you a chance to make your life better and open opportunities for you to meet the attractive young girls and treat you like a king. Maybe you wanna check it out or tell your friends.. Just love it

What a joke. She married him knowing exactly what he did for a living and what could happen when he got traded, as is life for a journeyman NFL reciever. What does she do that she "needs" to be in Cali for? She doesn't work, her only "job" is to look pretty and at this point, be a wife and mother, and her selfish me first attitude is going to ruin that. Stay with your family, his career will be over by the time they're both 35 or so, and then she can make him do whatever she wants, but she needs to grow up for now.

You are so right. She considers herself a single mother, except she doesn't have to work to keep the family afloat! She is the same thing as a house wife with a travelling saleman for a husband. Where are the financial pressures? Where is the stress of finding someone to watch the kid or finding an affordable daycare so you can work just to survive? She is a joke!!

My mother was a single mother and so is my sister, thats means no help, no partner to help support and pay for things you need of child. she still has a husband who is fully supporting her, while she stays home. uhuhuhuhu SHE IS A STAY AT HOME MOTHER AND HER HOME SHE HAS CHOSEN HAPPENS TO BE ON THE WEST COST FAR FROM HER HUSBAND.
