'Real World' Star Matt Smith Welcomes Daughter on Arizona Freeway

'Real World: New Orleans' cast member Matt Smith became a daddy for the second time in the most unlikely of places. The reality show star and wife Candyce welcomed their second daughter, Stella St. Claire, on the side of Arizona's San Tan Freeway while trying to make their way to a local hospital.

PEOPLE reports that Smith and his wife got in their car around 10PM, but after only a few minutes of driving, the couple realized that they would have to deviate from their original hospital delivery plan.

"I opened the door, the phone on 911 clenched between my ear," said Smith. "[Candyce was] very calm, but you could tell that this was not our plan."

The healthy, 7 lbs., 11 oz. baby girl was born by the roadside, where the family waited until paramedics arrived. Mother and daughter were then transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where nurses suggested the couple name her Santana, after the place she was born.

Smith, however, has higher aspirations for the newborn. "We'd rather have a freeway named after her than name her after a freeway," he joked. "I felt very blessed and was thanking God that we made it."

The couple, who married in 2007, welcomed their fist daughter, Norah Grace, in 2008.

I was hoping she grew up, I was hoping they would make it, but I knew by the way she carried on they wouldn't. What makes me mad is baby Hank, she is not putting him first with his Daddy. Shame on you Kendra for being selfish.I love this , So does My boyfriend .he is almost 11year older than me .i met him via agegapsingl es.c 'om a nice place for seeking age le ss love.which gives you a chance to make your life better and open opportunities for you to meet the attractive young girls and treat you like a king. Maybe you wanna check it out or tell your friends.. Just love it

I'm not saying this to be spiteful or mean at all about Matt, but am I the only one who thought he was secretly Gay? I maybe stereotyping but he always seem like he was gay and he hid it very well. Again I am not saying that to be a jerk or rude it was just my opinion
