LeAnn Rimes has opened up about the cheating scandal that has damaged her once sparkling reputation and career, telling ABC News' Robin Roberts in a teary interview that she and Eddie Cibrian have nothing to be ashamed of for finding each other."It happens every day to so many people," Rimes says of meeting and falling for then-married Cibrian on the set of a TV movie. "And if I take away my album sales, my words ... you have just another couple. You had two couples whose marriages didn't work, who really stumbled upon each other and fell in love."

I absolutely agree. I have poersonal experience. He cheated on me. He then cheated on her.. HA HA Ha.. Stupid people that really think they are so special, their love so special that they would leave their spouse..I can't wait til they get theirs.
You call me accepting of adultery? Whatever. I think of it more as non-judgemental and tolerant. Things are not always black and white, no matter what conclusions people want to draw. As far as the kids go, I'm from a broken home, and I came out of it just fine. As a matter of fact, things were much better and less stressful at home after the split. Kids are probably much more resiliant than the adults in these situations.
You have that right! Why does she still feel the need to keep showing her ugly mug in the press/talk show? Why doesn't she just keep her trap shut and move-on. Every time she opens her mouth it is a dagger to the ones she/he screwed over. There is no pity for her/him what so ever. The pity is with the people they hurt. She and Eddie seriously need to find a hole and crawl into it and stay. She just won't go away!

I can't believe all you judgemental people. the heart wants what the heart wants. No man is going to leave if he is happy or woman either. Everyone needs to pull their heads out of there behinds and leave them alone. she has a beautiful voice and you should just enjoy it. they haven't done anything thousands of others have done. they fell in love. Good for you both. I hope you stay in love forever.
hmmm.. brings to mind a book called "Happens Every Day" by Isabel Gillies, a title Isabel came up with from the exact phrase the other woman in her husband's life said to her after she destroyed Isabel's marriage and broke up her family. I guess from some of these people, breaking up a family just "happens every day."

People live life from day to day and do not say that i am going to break up a marriage. Leann is a regular person like everyone else and yes she made a mistake. So minus the fact that she is a great singer and actor does not mean that she cannot have flaws and mistakes in her life. Thats whats wrong with everyone we judge everyone instead of looking at out own life. She made a mistake as well as the other guy but why dwell and be rude and say rotten things. Like she said "take away the music and acting and she is like everyone else" We can all forgive and move on. People make more out of it then what it seems.

Amen & Amen again! It always amazes me that people are so unforgiving. Things happen in life that are unexplainable,no mattter how hard you try. Forgiveness can be healthly to all.
That this sort of thing happens to people is not the issue; the issue is that they both acted on their desires. At the end of the day, both LeAnn and Eddie CHOSE to end their marriages and wreck their relationships with their spouses. You can't just wave your hand and say, "Oh, this is something that happens to lots of people," and expect that's going to make it all right.
Forgiveness first requires the offending party to admit that they did something wrong. Until either one of them does that, forgiving doesn't really mean anything.
