Dina Lohan visited NBC's 'Today Show' this morning after spending time at the Betty Ford Center, where her daughter Lindsay Lohan is back in rehab. Dina called the facility "life-changing" for Lindsay and an "amazing place." Matt Lauer asked Dina, who spent two weeks in family sessions at the clinic, about Lindsay's condition. "Happy, relaxed. She's just a different person," Dina answered. "She's been in a couple facilities, but this one, to me, has really changed her. They get into your psyche and your family and they bring the problem to the surface."

Great, rehab is life changing, lets see how she does once she is released. Of course in Dina's eyes Lindsay can do no wrong and has no problems. Mama, you are a big part of her problems. Stay out of her life and maybe, just maybe Lindsay can get better. I'm not betting my house on it though.

Dina Lohan could probably win Worst Mother and Stage Mother of The Year award as she is oblivious to the fact that SHE is probably the biggest factor in the ruination of her daughter Lindsay and the girls career. She is a predator of the worst kind and I only hope that being in rehab will wake Lindsay up to that fact and bid mommy dearest a fond adieu when she gets out of rehab. I wish some really good family would take Lindsay in a help put her on a good path.

That all sounds great joan, but Lindsey is a 24 year old grown woman! She seems/acts 14 and looks 40. I was maarried with two kids at that age! By the way, I see Dina hit the plastic surgeons before her "performance" on the Today Show! Don't you just love the extra high arch of her eyebrows? I like what she said but is it honest on her part? If she hasn't admitted HER part in Lindsey's fall, then she is just spouting words she knows will please the "crowds". You know, an act. She just seems a mess, not really with the reality of it all. I hope Lindsey goes to another state for the rest of her recovery after she is released next year. Dina, in my opinion, is not going to be a good person to have around for awhile. I wish them all good luck, but I'm not holding my breath. Dina doesn't know how to be a Mother and not an enabler. We'll see.
Hopefully rehab is life changing for Dina "The Money Pit" Lohan as well.

The fact that Dina Lohan would believe a short period of rehab would transform the life of an addict is overwhelming evidence of her ignorance and her disengagement from the life-threatening issues her daughter still confronts. She, herself, needs help in order to stop being one of the worst parents a young woman like Lindsay could have. The media is partially to blame for the dumbing down of America by giving credence to horrible parents like Dina by giving them a forum to broadcast their naive and uninformed opinions.

Why is this such news. This girl is not a big star. While she has more cred than the Kadashians and Paris Hilton, she is not a major star. I care nothing about her. She had opportunities that many young girls would have loved to have, but she is spoiled and that is the bottom line. Whether she is really a drug addict, don't know-but it makes for good press. Does anyone really feel she is a great actress. I don't. She just is a girl that had some lucky breaks and has a terrible father and mother. They see dollar signs when they look at her.

Our country needs more stories with happy endings. It truly would be good to see Lohan beat addiction. She has more issue than addiction, though. We will see where this heads...but I ..for one...always enjoy seeing a person turn thier life around. I have afeeling that with her...she will fall again...but if she can avoid prison she may finally win. She is so lucky to have the chances she has had. Let's hope all her breaks don't end of for nothing. I wish everyone get the breaks she did...but that is not reality...but still...I don't resent her for getting the chances so many others should also get. It is not her fault the world is not fair. She is very lucky she is not me...or she would have been locked away and had the key thrown away long ago.

I think the biggest change is that Dina has finally admitted that LiLo is an addict. That will make LiLo's recovery a much better possibility. Dina was probably the worst of all the people that enabled LiLo in her quest for more booze and drugs.
