Miley Cyrus Would Trade All Her Success to Fix Parents' Marriage

Sources tell me Miley Cyrus blames her success for her parents' divorce and would give up every dollar and gold record she ever earned if dad Billy Ray and mom Tish would agree to give marriage one more try.

"Both parents have been equally involved in making their daughter a superstar," a friend of the teen singer tells me. "And now that they have achieved their goal they have nothing to work towards anymore and nothing to keep them together."

Insiders tell me Billy Ray and Tish have gone from being loving partners and parents to business managers, spending all their time and attention on their daughter's career and often forgetting to focus on each other.

"Every marriage struggles when a child leaves home and the relationship gets re-examined, but add on top of that that every second of the past decade Billy Ray and Tish have spent building a star together, they have forgotten to make time for each other," a music executive tells me. "It's heartbreaking. You would think that someone like Miley has everything in the world, but I guarantee she would give it all up in a second if it kept her family together. I'm sure when she blows out her birthday candles in a few weeks her wish will be for mom and dad, not her career."

How ironic: Now that Miley is old enough to manage her own career -- worth well over $50 million dollars -- Billy Ray and Tish's dream has come true at the cost of their marriage.

Sad. they have several beautiful children together. They just need to start at the beginning again. Like date night. Get the fire back into their marriage. It can be done. they're doing what most parents do. They put their kids first. I do that in a smaller scale. Most of my money goes to buying my kid the newest clothes and shoes so she feels good about herself going to school. Her hair and nails get done. She has a closet full of clothes while I wear the same jeans and shirts for 4 years. It's what parents do. Miley should get her brothers and sisters together (even relatives and friends) and start helping her parents find their lust again. They can do it. Its never too late.

Oh I'm so sure she'd trade her "fame". The only reason she's in the news is because she's so trashy and the reason she's trashy is because of her upbringing.

I guess you're right about that! How many times has her Dad, Billy Rae said when ask about his skanky daughter and her horish behavior: "That's what girls her age do"!? No, Billy Ray, that's NOT what "nice" girls do at all. Taking underwear shots of herself at 11 and sending them out over the internet? Is that what ALL 11 year old girls do? Mine were involved in band and played video games and went to the mall, talked on the phone about boys, read books listened to music, did homework. Some how they always managed to keep their clothes on and not spread their legs in public with no underwear. She's NOT acting normally now and she wasn't acting normally as a pre teen either. Kids need Rules, MORALS, Standards to follow and their Parents are supposed to teach them. Not do a Kiddy version of Girls Gone Wild!!

I would say that the problem is more the mistake lots of parents make. They put their kids ahead of themselves. Yeah, it sounds selfish, but you HAVE to put your spouse first. If that relationship is left unattended, it can be disastrous for the whole family. When you put your spouse first, and they put you first, then you are both getting the support and love you need, and are then in turn able to fully love and support your children.

I agree with you. Unfortunately, my spouse has always, always put himself first. I, I, I, me, me, me. It's impossible to put someone like that first in life, so my kid is my top priority.

Lynn - BEEN THERE - done that. 9 11/12ths years I was married to someone like that. I finally decided I would rather have my kids see a strong single mom than grow up thinking THAT was what a marriage was supposed to be. So we divorced. Not an easy choice (and I'm a CHRISTIAN! GASP!!!!) but the right one.

I did find someone who DOES put me first and it's amazing.

I hope you spouse realizes the gem he has before he loses it.

Hog wash, the marriage is over because Trish can't stay in her own bed. sHE was a groupie when she met Billy hopping from bed to bed and he was dumb enough to think she would change. Now look at Miley and you can see how her mother has affected her, 17 going on 30, one guy after another, so it goes, daughter like mother

The highest divorce rate is among Christian couples. Reading the bible and going to church are religious rituals that have little to do with marriage. Marriage is much more than reading the bible and going to church.

Some people move on if they fight instead of argue, some like
me argue and stay till the other wants to fight then take a couple to the face and then her them to leave living with me.

I have a strong family, I don't give up on people but if they give up on me I say do it to someone else. If they sort out how to continue to stay with me I let her.

Thats' how it works.

If they have the same attitude then they will find they won't even have to tell me what is wrong and I will be the first to act starting within.

so people get board and what to experiance something new when the children are adult and if they have a older sister to live with. that's life.

One to live the older yoou are the shorter it gets.

Some people don't want to stay together as a sole couple for
the whole thing.

In mileys situation the only a chance for real seperation
is if they both let miley take manageing control of her own talent.
