Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen Get Back Together

It's back on! After taking some time apart over the summer, Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are dating again, PEOPLE reports.

The couple, who met on the set of 'Jumper' in 2007 and got engaged the following year, decided to take a break from their relationship in June and officially called it quits in August.

Following sightings of Christensen leaving Bilson's California home, a source tells PEOPLE that the pair have rekindled their romance. "They're dating again," the source reveals.

Bilson, best known for her role as Summer Roberts on 'The O.C.', alerted media to the split at the 'Take No Prisoners' event in L.A. this past summer. When asked about wedding plans, Bilson pointed to her absent engagement ring and said, "No plans."

The couple allegedly split due to distance: Christensen lives in Canada while Bilson spends most of her time in California for work. "It just wasn't working out," a pal said at the time.

HAYDEN and RACHEL - it's admirable that you are both mature enough to want to explore your relationship further to see where it may or may not go. Either way, I have been a HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN FAN since 1998 and I think you guys are adorable together! Personally, I just want you guys HAPPY - either way! LOVE YOU HAYDEN!!

Kev - shows you how much you know, HAYDEN is not gay. Just because you may be jealous, don't call someone gay to make YOURSELF feel better! James Franco is not gay either but posed on a magazine cover as a woman, it's HOLLYWEIRD man, get over it!

HAYDEN and RACHEL are meant to be together, they ARE truly in love and will somehow, make a way through the fact that they are very close to their families and respective cities. Think of the GORGEOUS children they could have...whew! God bless you both!

It's truly amazing to me that there might be people out there that don't know that Hollywood is in the job of making fantasy and movies. HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN is an actor, it's his profession, it's how he makes a living. Tom Hanks, Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhal all PLAYED gay guys but are straight. James Franco posed as a woman on a recent magazine but is straight. You see, in Hollywood you have to be able to play ALL KINDS of roles, it a requirement of the job. HAYDEN has said in many interviews that he is NOT gay but has also played some guys that might have that slant. The fact that there are a huge number of sources available on the internet and no one bothers to check is annoying. Ignorance is shown when you don't "go to the source", in this case HAYDEN himself, and get the facts. To annonymously go on the internet and purport that someone is gay is borderline bullying and certainly juvenile.
