Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky Split

Rachel Weisz and partner Darren Aronofsky have split up after nine years together, TMZ reports. The couple has a 4-year-old son, Henry Chance, they'll likely seek joint custody of.

A rep for the pair tells TMZ: "Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky have been separated for some months. They remain close friends and are committed to raising their son together in NYC."

More interestingly, TMZ sources link Weisz to fellow Brit Daniel Craig, AKA James Bond. The two filmed 'Dream House' together earlier this year, spending February and March on set.

Weisz won an Oscar for her performance in 'The Constant Gardener' in 2005 and has starred in 'The Mummy,' 'About a Boy' and 'The Fountain.' Aronofsky is the acclaimed director of 'The Wrestler,' 'Requiem for a Dream' and the upcoming (and much buzzed about) Natalie Portman vehicle 'Black Swan.'

You never saw "The Mummy" ... I mean, ok yeah it wasn't the best movie in the world (although I did like it) but WHO hasn't seen it. Rachel Weisz was great in it (better than her costars ... and I like them too).

Regular couples break up everyday too - we just hear about celeb couples more so it makes it look like they're more fickle than we are.

R U serious!! U have never seen The Mummy, or The Mummy Returns. The were awesome movies, 2 of my most favorite ones ever. She played Brendon Frasiers girlfriend/wife. They were an fantastic couple. I was very dissapointed that she didn't do the 3rd one.

Decades ago I saw the original MUMMY on late night TV with Boris Karloff. I'm just not into going to see remakes. Sorry!

The Mummy with Weisz wasn't exactly a remake. More like Indiana Jones Meets the Mummy. Karloff's Mummy was strictly for horror (and a very good movie itself), this one emphasised adventure. Both are fun to watch, for different reasons.

Who cares! These two adults bred, brought a child into this world. You know what the offspring of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman is called? Hope these two are proud of themselves! Neither has any self respect, let alone respect for the child they choose to bring into this world.

You could use a few lessons in Respect as well.
