Gordon Ramsay Exposes Family Drama In Open Letter

It's no secret Gordon Ramsay gets into fights -- a lot of them -- but now a family feud has hit its breaking point, so he decided to invite the public into his nightmare. The 'Hell's Kitchen' chef issued a public letter, directed at his mother-in-law, to the London Evening Standard detailing his battles with his father-in-law.

Ramsay begins the letter with a dramatic statement, saying, "This has to be one of the most painful letters I've ever had to write."

The 44-year-old host of 'Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares' then details his wife Tana's parents' attempts to push him out of their lives and how the rift is hurting Tana deeply.

"I'm not expecting a birthday card, but you're punishing your daughter and our four children, for all the wrong reasons, it's so sad," Ramsay wrote. "She's an amazing woman and you've been a fantastic mum ... please don't stop!!!"

Ramsay went on to explain that the problems with his father-in-law, Chris Hutcheson, 62, began after Hutcheson accused of him of drug abuse and called him "a monster" after he fired him from his company, Gordon Ramsay Holdings.

"My God did that hurt," Ramsay wrote. "How dare he ever suggest this on the back of my frustration and dealings with my younger brother and his addiction."

According E! Online, Mr. Hutcheson denies ever calling Ramsay a drug abuser, and still remains a shareholder of the company.

I like Chef Ramsey and whatever is going on it is not our business. The in laws need to stat out and leave them alone. He has treated her good and loves the kids.

In a society now chock full of mediocrity and carelessness, have always respected Ramsay's demand for a higher standard from his underlings in the kitch. Hope this family "knasch" blows over soon. I like Ramsay, didn't at first. The persona on TV is just what that is. Really though it is boot camp for running a M dollar restaurant he sets the winner up with. You have to take the pressure and put out. Like it or not you will get yelled at and treated unfairly out in the real world. As to his in-laws this stuff happens all the time. I'm glad he made it public so others can understand what people have to go through. I'm sure this was a last ditch effort. More than likely the dad was going to run his mouth too or to put the employees in the know.
