Rihanna and Her New Red Ponytail Dominate on 'X-Factor'

Are you a fan of Rihanna's bright red locks? Well, now there are more of them to love.

The 22-year-old pop star was spotted this week in Italy wearing a long, braided ponytail. Yes, we know it's hair extensions, but if you're going to go bold with a color, why not go all the way, right?

Worn loose and off to the side, this plait draws more attention to Rihanna's gorgeous face (just look at those high cheekbones and pouty lips!). It also highlights her long bangs tinted with what appear to be gray streaks.

Long or short hair, the "Only Girl (In the World)" singer is one of the only stars we know who could pull off this raging red hair color. Rihanna was in Milan to perform the single on 'X-Factor Italia.'

Just days before, Rihanna was rocking the purple carpet -- and the stage -- at the 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid with a Snooki-esque pouf. After a quick costume change, she reappeared with her signature short, choppy locks to complement her um... short, pointy dress.

The hairstyles may change, but her "matador red" mane seems to be a keeper. Get more on StyleList.

wow thats a unique color...i wonder if its really hairextensions since she has really short hair of her own, perhaps too short to attach hairextions? maybe its a wig?

Im not sure most men think red hair is hot. I sure do not. I asked some girl friends of mine and said they liked it at first, but then it clashed with the colors in thier wardrobe and colors of makeup had to be limited. When a blonde or a brunette walked in the room, it was like they were not even there. I guess red hair is just hard to work with. Some stars recently dyed their hair red and not more than two weeks later turned their hair back to a another color. Only some red heads are good looking..when they dont have freckes. You have to have a good bone structure to cary it off and not nbe overweight. Rihanna looks good no matter what she does, however!
