Greyson Chance debuted his single 'Waiting Outside the Lines' on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' in October, and now he's filmed a music video to match."They're screaming my name!" an ecstatic Greyson tells the camera in a behind-the-scenes clip showing the video's production. Chance is shown playing at his personally-designed piano (black and white keys reversed!) and getting soaked in the rain for a big finish.
"The song is really close to my heart," Greyson told Ellen recently. In the tune, the 13-year-old prodigy sings, "You'll never enjoy your life / Livin' inside the box / You're so afraid of taking chances / How you gonna reach the top?"
Now, Ellen gives fans a closer look at the 'Waiting Outside the Lines' video in an exclusive clip. See the behind-the-scenes video after the jump!

This kid is seriously talented, and so mature, unlike that girly boy Justin Bieber. I often wonder, just WHO does Bieber know?

Bieber was "discovered" by Usher, go figure
Are you serious!?!? Whoa, go figure is right.
Yep, I agree. This kid is naturally talented and unlike some young stars . . professional and likeable too.
Best of luck to him.
The keys he reversed on his piano were originally that way back in Mozart's and Beethoven's time. He's obviously read about them. Smart and very talented guy. And he's not so into himself like Justin Bieber.

Brilliant performer. I feel also, that I have to apologize about the haters on these posts. Get a life!

They should have manufactured a star wannabe from a kid who can really sing. Prodigy? At what? A prodigy generally is like Mozart or Van Cliburn or YoYo Ma. This boy is cute, but a pretty good singer is about all. Give him maybe a year of rising then fading stardom.

I keep trying to jam his music into my little sister's ears in hopes she'll switch her obsession to him instead of Biebs. He seems like such a great kid! And what talent!
Did anyone else find it strange that they were playing OneRepublic in the background, though?

nice kid. I wish I could hear some real music from him - like the Bach Italian Concerto or some of the two-part inventions. He doesn't really need "discovery". Not at that age. Even a kid piano genius needs time to develop and mature, too much adulation could stunt that.

let's hope this adorable little child makes it through the tough music industry, without the trappings of excess! I am sure Ellen will look out for him...love you Greyson..amazing talent!
