Actress Jane Fonda discovered she had breast cancer during a routine checkup a few weeks ago. Luckily, the small tumor was non-invasive and after a successful procedure, the 72-year-old actress-activist is cancer-free. The fitness guru first revealed the health scare news to 'Entertainment Tonight,' which will air an exclusive interview Thursday.
"She's 100 percent cancer-free. She's completely fine and it's business as usual for her," her rep told PEOPLE.

Why is this news. (FONDA HAD A BREAST CANCER SCARE but DIDN'T). I just FOUGHT breast cancer and succeeded after going going thru lots of pain.Just an ordinary citizen who, by the way still LOVES her country.
Why do the people in the media and the so-called Stars have to anounce all your medicine troubles to the viewers to get synpathy. Are you people that weak that you cannot just quietly fight things by yourself. You all should be ashame .. BOO HOO.
You are correct Sandra. Why would anyone give a rip about her cancer or not? Not one single time, not even for one minute did she visit me in the Bethesda Naval hospital after my legs were blown off in Vietnam. Not one piece of mail with a card from her showed up. Not one second did she tell everyone she knows they should pray or do Buddah stuff for me. And so Jane, pi** on you!
This could not have been a greater gift for service men on Memorial Day.

Carrie Underwood stole the show for sure....But Gwyneth Paltrow was great. When you figure this was her first time in front of all those country stars. If she wanted to take a country music singing career she would do just fine. Not to mention she is very easy on the eyes. I just wish Vince Gill would not have had to be up there with her. And I was glad to see that the country's little bubble gum singer Taylor Swift was on the quiet side. She is horrible trying to sing live. The sooner she is gone from country the better country will be. And way to go Blake and Miranda

What article are you reading?????
Hey Steve, The very talented Vince Gill was up on stage singing with the lovely Gwen, to promote their new movie song. I'm sure in the future she will be having plenty of alone stage time. But, sweetie, this is why they have 'duets' in all musical genere's. I'm sending you a sympathy hug....gidget

Amen brother, Amen.
So Jane had a cancer scare? Wonder if she ever gave a thought to the fright of those prisoners in the Hanoi Hilton when they thought she would help them. And to show this on Veterans Day...shabby AOL. Who cares?

American always have "Jobs to do",and Cause to service. There're
no everlastjob, and only one cause to follow.Jane had a lot contribution, and personal Bio.,activity in different situation, different time, may not use to judge.Let see,as along time ago,American had been considered as good friend of
Vietnamese.

AMEN to that, Mary. Makes me wonder if it was done deliberately.
Who gives a hoot about Hanoi Jane anyway? KARMA-Jane dear. Karma.
You are, absolutely, correct Mary. AOL should be boycotted for running this insignificant item about a traitor on Veterans Day.
Hey Jane, remember Hanoi Hilton, Karma, traitor, karma

Darn! I was hoping the story was she was dying a painful death. Why the hell should we care about this worthless American traitor? She sure as hell didn't care about our men in uniform. Die Jane Fonda, please!
