Jane Fonda Reveals Breast Cancer Scare

Actress Jane Fonda discovered she had breast cancer during a routine checkup a few weeks ago. Luckily, the small tumor was non-invasive and after a successful procedure, the 72-year-old actress-activist is cancer-free.

The fitness guru first revealed the health scare news to 'Entertainment Tonight,' which will air an exclusive interview Thursday.

"She's 100 percent cancer-free. She's completely fine and it's business as usual for her," her rep told PEOPLE.

Although she just had the procedure earlier this week, Fonda is already out promoting her latest fitness DVD and workout equipment.

The Academy Award winner rose to fame in the 1960s with films such as 'Barbarella,' 'Klute' and 'Coming Home' and recently returned to film with 'Monster in Law' and 'Georgia Rule.' She also produced and starred in several exercise videos.

While I am no fan of Jane Fonda. I grew up during the /vietnam war and remember her traitor talk. However, she was a young girl then and has moved on with her life and is now an old lady. Let the hate go folks.

yea she was young and so were the P.O.W.'s that she got killed. they did not get the chance to go on with their lives. I would love to hear that she stepped in front of a fast moving train. but even that would be to good for her.
