Pat Sajak Sorry For Unleashing Keith Olbermann on America

'Wheel of Fortune' host Pat Sajak may not seem like much of a troublemaker, but the TV personality certainly has some choice words for Keith Olbermann. Sajak, a steadfast conservative, took to his Ricochet blog this week to apologize to the entire country for featuring the cable host on his short-lived talk show in 1989.

In a post titled 'Mea Culpa,' Sajak writes of the recently reinstated MSNBC star, "I was the person who introduced Keith Olbermann to America ... I'm not sure how he morphed into the bitter-sounding, hate-mongering name-caller he's become, but I'm sorry he did."

Sajak, who hosted Olbermann, then a sportscaster, on 'The Pat Sajak Show,' continued his tirade, saying, "I do know that to whatever extent the political well has been poisoned, Keith has dumped more than his share of venom into the water. I'd like to think he knows that and maybe even regrets it. I liked the Keith Olbermann of 1989."

Olbermann responded to Sajak's criticism via Twitter, calling Sajak's statements "bulls**t."

"Pat Sajak did not introduce me to America. I started on CNN the same year he started on 'Wheel,'" he writes. "I think if he needs to apologize for anything it needs to be that talk show. When he was canceled, he was replaced by a crime-and-skin series called 'Silk Stalkings,' for God's sake."

Actually Keith is well informed, highly literate and clearly spoken. On top of that he is angry, as most of us are. Corporations are deciving you, minupulating you and screwing you blind. you don't see it, and are sucked by the bought and paid for media wing nuts who are telling you who to point your finger at and blame. Like my handle name says...can't fix stupid!

And Pat Sajak is a drunken piece of crap. I met him a few years ago, he is an arrogant mean natured person. As for Rush Limbuagh, he would not know truth if he fell over it. He promosed to leave this country twice and he is still here. So, that makes him quite the liar.

People should realize that Keith Olberman and Rush Limbaugh are one organism with two a**holes, spinning the national discourse with hate and venom and only going in circles. Ben Afleck did a hilarious spoof of Olberman on SNL, but it's been stashed in the NBC vaults ever since because it was so dead-on. Even the liberal NY crowd was rolling in their seats. He's a tool.
