Pat Sajak Sorry For Unleashing Keith Olbermann on America

'Wheel of Fortune' host Pat Sajak may not seem like much of a troublemaker, but the TV personality certainly has some choice words for Keith Olbermann. Sajak, a steadfast conservative, took to his Ricochet blog this week to apologize to the entire country for featuring the cable host on his short-lived talk show in 1989.

In a post titled 'Mea Culpa,' Sajak writes of the recently reinstated MSNBC star, "I was the person who introduced Keith Olbermann to America ... I'm not sure how he morphed into the bitter-sounding, hate-mongering name-caller he's become, but I'm sorry he did."

Sajak, who hosted Olbermann, then a sportscaster, on 'The Pat Sajak Show,' continued his tirade, saying, "I do know that to whatever extent the political well has been poisoned, Keith has dumped more than his share of venom into the water. I'd like to think he knows that and maybe even regrets it. I liked the Keith Olbermann of 1989."

Olbermann responded to Sajak's criticism via Twitter, calling Sajak's statements "bulls**t."

"Pat Sajak did not introduce me to America. I started on CNN the same year he started on 'Wheel,'" he writes. "I think if he needs to apologize for anything it needs to be that talk show. When he was canceled, he was replaced by a crime-and-skin series called 'Silk Stalkings,' for God's sake."

Keith O. showed the skit on his show, and acknowledged the very entertaining bit that Ben A. presented.

Keith should have continued sports reporting. He has no clue about politics. He is biased. I think that the network suspended him to increase their viewers. This was a tactic that will not work. They first have to get some balanced reporters.

Just because Keith doesn't know anything about politics doesn't mean that he knew anything about sports either. The clown is a turd bird. What network but NBC would keep hiring him. Let's face it, when you can't cut it at ESPN you're at the bottom of the "reporter" food chain.

Can say the same thing about rush limbaugh - he started out in sports and, quite frankly, this world would be a lot better off if he had stayed there instead of spewing is lies and venom. Nothing like all those people hanging on a drug addicts words.

Ding,Ding,Ding, you win! None of them are journalist. Not Beck, not Olberman, not any of them. They are just people who get paid alot of money to tell their OPINIONS! What bothers me is the people who watch them. They take what they say as the truth without doing any type of fact finding or research.
