Insider: Sarah Palin 'Obsessed' With Making Bristol a 'Dancing' Champ

Amazingly, Bristol Palin has hoofed her way through another week on ABC's monster hit 'Dancing With the Stars,' and it's not because of her less-than-stellar footwork, it's thanks to her famous mom's campaigning.

"Sarah is determined make Bristol the winner of the show. Whatever it takes," an insider tells me. "She's become obsessed with it, as if it were the election all over again, except this time a Palin will be the winner."

The former governor's determination is no secret and has caught the attention of many politically-minded sites, including The Daily Beast, which wondered this week if a vast right-wing conspiracy is underway to make sure Bristol stays put. The site points out that conservative activist and Palin supporter Tammy Bruce tweeted, "Operation Bristol waltzes in tonight! As #DWTS starts vote at abc.go.com Tweeps pls tweet phone info, will RT."

There's nothing like firing up Sarah's loyal fan base to keep her daughter dancing!

"Sarah is making it very clear that she wants Bristol to win," a show insider tells me, adding that Palin is tickled by the idea of taking votes away from the more "Hollywood liberal types" on the show.

"This is her chance to get even and show all those Democrats that a regular girl with conservative values and common sense" can win it all.

Just a few days ago, Sarah reminded her 295,942 Twitter followers what a great girl Bristol is. "From youth football team, shop class & commercial fishing to Final 5 on Dancing W T Stars, we're proud of Bristol's courage, grace & diversity!"

If this pro-Bristol campaign wins out, America just may see the mirror ball trophy in the White House someday!

She was voted off - before she started. This is just a place for many to air their feelings for Sarah. It really doesn't matter "who" on the dance floor is dragging their feet. Would you dance with a target on your back? Dancing with wolves is simply survival not popular. I find it amazing how people that think they are main stream, are so ill informed.

Too bad that DWTS has now lost it's integrity, the judges, host and sponsor's as well. Next year all the pro's should boycott this show. My family has lost all respect for the show and will no loonger watch it. What happened to the old days you worked hard to be a winner not buy it. S. Palin needs to go back to Alsaka.

I don't see the political point to making sure Bristol wins DWTS. Frankly, I don't even believe Palin is doing what this article suggests. I think she is proud and supporting of her daughter, but surely she isn't a stage mother - she has her own stage to promote and be engaged with. I think some Palin supporters are voting for Bristol, but I also think a lot of teenage girls are voting for her - ones that want to see this teenage Mom win over the older candidates.

One of the reasons Sarah Palin could like Bristol to win DWTS is because when she runs for POTUS her family information sounds more impressive saying Bristol is the DWTS champion rather than the child who got pregnant while in high school. It spins voters from the negative to the positive. Palin & her followers have manipulated an entertainment show to fit their political agenda.

I think we have a winner! Why does the left allow hear say opinion, mascarading as news dictate their belief in a conspiracy against the conservatives? If we have that many single teenage mothers supporting Bristol, then that is what should be getting attention. To read a liberal quoting an unknown source and supporting the idea put forth as indisputable is a careless irresponsible action! Show us the source or stop pretending you are ligitimate! Wait, is her source Levi? Must be him!

So she pays off people to vote for her daughter, and then can you say she honestly DESERVED to win? Thats whats sad in this country people are being paid off to get things and not EARNING it.
