Insider: Sarah Palin 'Obsessed' With Making Bristol a 'Dancing' Champ

Amazingly,
Bristol Palin has hoofed her way through another week on ABC's monster hit 'Dancing With the Stars,' and it's not because of her less-than-stellar footwork, it's thanks to her famous mom's campaigning.
"
Sarah is determined make Bristol the winner of the show. Whatever it takes," an insider tells me. "She's become obsessed with it, as if it were the election all over again, except this time a Palin will be the winner."
The former governor's determination is no secret and has caught the attention of many politically-minded sites, including
The Daily Beast, which wondered this week if a vast right-wing conspiracy is underway to make sure Bristol stays put. The site points out that conservative activist and Palin supporter Tammy Bruce tweeted, "Operation Bristol waltzes in tonight! As #DWTS starts vote at abc.go.com Tweeps pls tweet phone info, will RT."
There's nothing like firing up Sarah's loyal fan base to keep her daughter dancing!
"Sarah is making it very clear that she wants Bristol to win," a show insider tells me, adding that Palin is tickled by the idea of taking votes away from the more "Hollywood liberal types" on the show.
"This is her chance to get even and show all those Democrats that a regular girl with conservative values and common sense" can win it all.
Just a few days ago, Sarah reminded her 295,942
Twitter followers what a great girl Bristol is. "From youth football team, shop class & commercial fishing to Final 5 on Dancing W T Stars, we're proud of Bristol's courage, grace & diversity!"
If this pro-Bristol campaign wins out, America just may see the mirror ball trophy in the White House someday!

If Sarah Palin's daughter wins, it is time for the producers to re-evaluate what the show is all about and change the way it is judged. I think it is a shame that one of the worst dancers is voted for and then she wins. Is that really a victory and something to be proud about. I don't think so. She was so clumsy on Tuesday. How disgusting.

Sarah Plain lost the election, resigned as Governor. The daughter can't dance-clumsley feet and didn't vote. WTF.

I have been a big fan of DWTS for years now. I have seen every single episode for every single season. I have seen a lot of really bad dancers stick around for weeks (ie, Kate Gosslin) so I think Bristol is this seasons Kate. She will be gone after this weeks. She will not make it to the finals.

Bristol is no dancer. She's cute but Brandy and Jennifer have her beat without doing anything! I hate politics when it rears it's ugly head in different venues.

The show is supposed to be about dancing and Bristol is clearly not a good dancer. Her dancing is stiff, lacking grace and musicality.

All the Palins are doing are selling their brand, I'm not a fan nor a detractor they are going to grab all they can while they can. just like anyone of you would do given the chance.

I reluctanly agree! Sarah saw and opening for fame and fortune and they are running with it, be it spot appearances for her daughter on tendly teen dramas, DWTS or their scripted "reality" show... 2010 is the year of the no talented Palins and we are the dummies promoting them!
She toooooo fat and she sure can't dance.

And who is taking care of her baby? Birth to three years old are critical formative years in a baby's developement and Bristol Palin is absent. Say what you want about how wonderful it was that she chose to have this child and how she is doing something with her life(?)but it appears that child rearing is secondary. DWTS should be the last thing a new mother should be concerned with.

Look at it this way, anyone for Palin is living in the Mickey Mouse Club House like she is. You betcha! You know!

There is no crime in a mother being proud of her daughter, however Sarah should be realistic about the ability or lack of ability that her child possesses. It is painfully obvious that Bristol does not have the talent to dance. Sarah should re-direct her efforts in supporting Bristol's geniune strengths, whatever they may be. Sarah is just making herself look like a "stage mom".

THIS IS A VERY GOOD WAY TO RUIN THIS SHOW WITH SARAH AND BRISTOL. ITS ALWAYS BAD ENOUGH THAT BRISTOL OUT OF SHAPE SELF IS ON THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. AMERICA NEEDS TO BOYCOTT THIS SHOW AND TAKE IT OFF THE AIR. BRISTOL IS A MESS. SHE CANT DANCE AND SHE MAKES THE SHOW SO BORING. PLEASE GET RID OF HER. ANOTHER THING, I DONT THINK ANY ONE WANTS TO SEE SARAH PALIN IN THE WHITE HOUSE. NO DUMB PRESIDENT.

Kyle is the most out of shape person on the show. But he also has made the most improvement of any of the dancers. I notice the athletes go home early, is it because they have limited fan base?
ITS A DAMN SHAME PALIN DIDNT WATCH HER KIDS WHEN SHE GROWING UP OR GOT KNOCKED UP WHEN SHE WAS A SO CALLED GOV. IN ALASKA NOW SHE PUT HER SO CALLED POLITIC IN A TV SHOW NOW I WONDER WHO WILL WIN

People are so quick to critize.
Bristol has a fantastic partner that has helped her tremendously.
The voters of America see her hard work and inexperience beginning to shine through. She isn't #1 but she has "earned" every week with her hard work. This is what the voters see. Nothing to do with her family.

Why is it such a big deal that a mother wants her daughter to win? That's a mother's job -- to support her children.

Everyone has people rooting for them and drumming up votes. NOT JUST Bristol Palin. I vote for Bristol because I like her, I like her courage, I even like her dancing. I was prepared to dislike her because of her mother. But as much as I don't like Sarah Palin's politics, I'm really enjoying watching Bristol meet every challenge with a bunch of judges who still don't give her the credit she deserves. Go Bristol.

I'm on Sarah's side and believe me...there is no conspiracy to vote for bristol..in fact, i sure dont know how she 's made it this far..her dancing is terrible

Sarah Palin need to stop, her daughter cannot dance and I think it is a shame they have let good dancers get voted off, I am thru with dancing with the stars if this happen.
