Insider: Sarah Palin 'Obsessed' With Making Bristol a 'Dancing' Champ

Amazingly,
Bristol Palin has hoofed her way through another week on ABC's monster hit 'Dancing With the Stars,' and it's not because of her less-than-stellar footwork, it's thanks to her famous mom's campaigning.
"
Sarah is determined make Bristol the winner of the show. Whatever it takes," an insider tells me. "She's become obsessed with it, as if it were the election all over again, except this time a Palin will be the winner."
The former governor's determination is no secret and has caught the attention of many politically-minded sites, including
The Daily Beast, which wondered this week if a vast right-wing conspiracy is underway to make sure Bristol stays put. The site points out that conservative activist and Palin supporter Tammy Bruce tweeted, "Operation Bristol waltzes in tonight! As #DWTS starts vote at abc.go.com Tweeps pls tweet phone info, will RT."
There's nothing like firing up Sarah's loyal fan base to keep her daughter dancing!
"Sarah is making it very clear that she wants Bristol to win," a show insider tells me, adding that Palin is tickled by the idea of taking votes away from the more "Hollywood liberal types" on the show.
"This is her chance to get even and show all those Democrats that a regular girl with conservative values and common sense" can win it all.
Just a few days ago, Sarah reminded her 295,942
Twitter followers what a great girl Bristol is. "From youth football team, shop class & commercial fishing to Final 5 on Dancing W T Stars, we're proud of Bristol's courage, grace & diversity!"
If this pro-Bristol campaign wins out, America just may see the mirror ball trophy in the White House someday!

Nice and all, if she should win the trophy, I will not watch again. Her dancing is just ok. Politics needs to stay out of the picture.

Hey, Sarah, how much did you spend buying all those votes for Bristol? Some victory.

This is Sarah Palin's new birth control. Her daughter is to tired to make Sarah a grandma yet again. Seriously Bristol should have been long gone from DWTS. Even Bristol knows she has gotten pity votes.....and she was practically begging viewers to send her home, she was tired and missing her son!

People stop voting for her..I'll give her credit she tries but should have been kicked off a long time ago. Kurt and Rick are much better dancers than she is. The only reason Bristol hasn't been voted off is her mom and I don't think thats fair to everyone else. Maybe next week America will stop voting for her sucky dancing.

I think it is very sad that some really improved dancers, much better and more improved than Bristol Palin, have been voted off the show because of the Sarah Palin fanantics trying to ruin a good show that everyone enoys. If Bristol Palin wins, it will taint DWTS for any future entertainment for all of us. These contestants have worked very hard and deserve to win - it is evident by the fact that Bristol has not lost any weight, that she has not worked as hard as the other contestants. This is a TV show, not a polictical arena and should remain so.

Bristols success is just proof of how popular Sarah Palin is in this country, she will probably be the first female president in 2012.

Fat chance.
What a load of crap this article is. The majority of my Democrat friends who watch the show vote for Bristol because she is improving and never had one ounce of dancing ability before the show started. Keep showing you lying leftness Rob Shuter, in the end you are only helping Bristol. Personally I like Kyle and Bristol.

What the HECK (Not the exact word is was going to use!) do you think you would do if it was your kid on this show. As a parent, you are damned right I am going to root for my kid! Is there a REAL parent out there that would root for someone other than their kid? If there is, I feel sorry for your kid(s)! Give Sarah Palin a break! She is doing the same for her kid as you would (hopefully) do for your own!

I agree Bristol should not still be on show. I was hoping she would have been eliminated the first week. why was she picked in the first place? No talent & think her mom is making a bigger fool of herself, too.

noone is voting for her sucky dancing....her MOTHER IS!!! HER FATHER IS VOTING WHO IN THEIR RIGHT VISION OR MIND IS VOTING FOR THIS GIRL

All I can say is God help us............

She's not even close to the remaining couples. She did dance better that Kurt Warner this week. If she doesn't go next week, we know is not based on danceing performance.

That's right, you liberal losers, stay glued to the tube whining about Bristol's dancing skills while your hero Obama drives this country straight into the ground! Maybe if you're lucky Our Dear Leader will appoint a Dancing Czar that will save or create a few more slots on DWTS for some socialist dancers better to your liking!

I am so sick of "Palin" bashing - Bristol's dancing is NOT a political dance - get over it kids!! She is doing a fantastic job!

Lin, can you HONESTLY say that she deserves to be in the final four? Be honest please. I think it is 100% because she is Sarah Palin's daughter that she is still there. It is political because of who she is. I am not bashing Bristol because I give her a ton of credit for putting herself out there, but lets be real here. She should have been home a few weeks ago.
I have never watched this show so I'm not sure how good the dancing is but Bristol Palin? seriously, wth? Surely there have been better dancers on this year.

Bristol the Pistol will be the worst dancer to ever win the contest. Obviously if there is one thing that Republicans do well, its vote. Its funny, you can tell that she wants to be kicked off.
