Emma Watson Holds Dress Up With Tape at Premiere
Emma Watson wore a short black dress to the premiere of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1,' but used some good old-fashioned double-sided tape to stop the dress from slipping open.
According to the
Daily Mail, Watson's dress was a revealing lace-and-feather number from Rafael Lopez. But because of its revealing back, she had to go the extra mile to keep it classy at the London premiere last night.
In an interview with the UK's
ITV Daybreak, Watson said, "It feels very strange to feel like you're retiring when you're 20 years old. But it does feel that way. I've spent 10 years making these movies and I just hope that the second part of my life is as incredible as the first half."
The starlet recently found herself at the center of a small controversy when an alleged
topless image of her was circulated around her college, Brown University. She immediately said the picture was a fake.
Watson recently
told Marie Claire that she found a "great group of girlfriends" at college. "Brown has a real sense of community, and people are very protective of me. They really look out for me; they want me to feel like I'm part of it. I threw my 20th birthday party at Brown, and I didn't even have to say to anyone not to put pictures on Facebook. Not a single picture went up. That was when I knew I'd found a solid group of friends, and I felt like I belonged."
She also told the magazine of finishing 'Harry Potter,' "It wasn't like I made one movie; it was working consistently for 10 years. There was no reprieve. But I'm glad I saw it through to the end; I played that character from the start, and I wanted to finish what I started. It felt very satisfying that I had completed Hermione's journey."

Hit or Miss Fashion?
Christina Aguilera leaves her SoHo hotel looking very edgy, and possibly 'Evil,' as she heads to Radio City Music Hall.

Rafael Lopez needs to rethink the design, making it either/or.

Give the girl a break...she's already been working as a profession for 10 of her 20 years! And I DO remember being 20 and thinking that I'd never be 50...sigh. At 60 now, I can't believe that I thought I was old at 30!

How long will it be until Emma's hair grows back? Don't boor me until then.

I agree, I hate the hair. She's adorable, but grow the hair. Message to Jamie Lee Curtis - same as Emma.

She looks adorable and the new hair cut fits her face perfectly. Why all the haters on a 20 y/o who is apparently doing well in her life? Someone needs to grow-up and it's not Emma...

Heidi: IN!! GO MONDO!!!

Well, Heidi did say she loved the dress and would definitely wear it when Mondo showed it on the runway for one of the "Project Runway" challenges. She's good to her word and I'm very happy for Mondo. He is a wonderful, amazingly talented designer and I hope we will be seeing more of his designs on runways and in stores in the future.
Good gracious, girl! I certainly hope 20 years is not half your life or that your life is half over!!!Let's hope the remaining 4/5ths of your life is as incredible as the first fifth!!!

If she's 20 and she has spent 10 years making a series of movies then she HAS spent half of her life making the movies.
Also, I think her short hair style is very cute on her. I'm kind of sick of the generic long hair, myself.
I think she is cute, however I also think she needs just a little more hair it looks like a 12 year old boys hair cut. The dress is beautiful, to bad it had to be taped up. I have watched her grow up from a cute little kid to a beautiful young woman in the HP series. Too bad I won't see the last 3 movies. I have boycotted Warner Brothers because of the way they screwed the fans over the release of the last film. WB isn't getting another penny of my money. I know I am cutting off my nose to spite my face but I am going to stand my ground on this one.

The last "two" movies, you mean? If Warner Brothers wants to stretch it out for a little extra money, that's their business. Again, it's just business. Honestly, I wish they had started splitting the films into two since the fourth film, which they mentioned wanting to do a long time ago. It allows more time for these thick books with intricate stories to develop, instead of having to cut everything and only stick to the main plot points. Warner Brothers get more money, and the producers and fans get a fuller, more developed story. No boycott necessary, in my view.
Yawn!!...and HO HUM!!! Just another brainless twink, temporarily in the spotlight. Does what she says or does, or how she dresses affect any of the rest of the world?

Blainless she is NOT. She goes to Yale. She has bit more smarts than you are showing. Your name suits you!
Umm, actually she goes to Brown, it says so right in the article.
This would look good with a lace up open back and you could forget the tape and tweek the fit.

Emma Watson appears to be a fine, young actress. A pity that she got stuck with lousy fashion sense. That dress should be hung in the darkest part of a closet. Never to be seen again.

Emma is actually wearing something appropriate for her age. She's over 20 now, nice and thin, and attractive. Why shouldn't she wear something sexy and yet not revealing? I like the dress, and I'm 60 -- I just wish I could get away with wearing it!
